Hong KongHighly convenient location with great access to amenities
Left on 08/19/2011 for a stay in July 2011
Our family of 4 stayed in the apartment for a month and is absolutely thrilled about the choice. It is located practically next to the Sky Train station and there are eateries and supermarkets (T&T;) right at the doorstep. Road access to the location and parking is also convenient. It is also within easy walking distance to the sea front. Most importantly, the manager of the location is also friendly and helpful in making our stay a comfortable one. I would highy recommend this property to anyone.

Aside from the bed in the master bedroom and the living room sofa, the suite was quite comfortable. Helpful maps and info included at check-in. Convenient location and very reasonably priced. (It wasn't as big as it looked on the website though.)

Berlin, GermanyNice apartment in Downtown Vancouver
Left on 09/07/2010 for a stay in August 2010
We decided to stay at the Keefer Suite for our four days in Vancouver and do not regret our decision to go for a vacation rental rather than a hotel.
The suite is on the sixth floor of a two-year old building in a safe and newly developed area (International Village) south of Gastown (though unfortunately separated from it by the West Hastings Street area and you better make a bit of a detour on your way to Gastown...). Shops and many Vancouver downtown attractions are close-by. We found ourselves leaving the car in the garage most of the time.
We stayed in the apartment with four people - which is ok, but not perfect as the second bedroom and its bed are a bit small. So are the dining area and the living room. We think it is ideal for three people, though. There is not much of a view, but we were on our city explorations most of the time anyway. The website provides a true impression of the apartment.
The apartment was flawlessly clean and everything we needed was provided - from the obvious sheets and towels to shampoo and a hair dryer. Had we wanted to use the washing appliances, we would even have had everything for this, too. The kitchen is well equipped for basic cooking.
Check-in and check-out with Shawn was prompt. He personally assisted us with finding the right parking spot in the garage and explained the typical "Vancouver security system" to us. (Takes a bit of getting used to if you spent the past three weeks in the Canada wilderness where you hardly ever need to lock the door of your cabin...)
One of the best features for us was the pool which we found just fantastic for lap swimming in the morning.Response from Vancouver West Living - 09/07/2010

Dear Ralf,
Thank you for the review and we hope you enjoyed the stay. We hope to have you return for a visit to Vancouver in the near future.

Keefer Suites is well located, close to Gastown, Yale Town, and Chinatown, with Tinseltown shopping center across the street and Costco down the street. The apartment was light-filled, very clean and comfortable. The check-in was friendly and efficient - Shawn took the time to show us the amenities, parking, and the layout of the apartment. We loved the WiFi and cable TV. It is a very secured building, and our children loved the pool and the spa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Left on 08/17/2010 for a stay in August 2010
We were 3 in a 2 bedrooms appartment. It's a nice place. We had a great time. I really enjoyed going to the gym while my boyfriend and my friend were sleeping. I also liked the pool and the jacuzzi.
We also liked the fact that we had a grocery store nearby so we had all our breakfast at the condo. The place is well situated, there's restaurants, a mall, a cinema, the SkyTrain and buses.
The appartment is really nice with washer and dryer and a dishwasher! There were no view for us but we enjoyed the pond on the third floor.
I recommand to call 30 minutes before your check-out because they forgot about us and we were at the last minute at the airport but iIt's the only bad thing that happened in our stay.Response from Vancouver West Living - 08/18/2010

Dear Cindy,
Thank you for the positive review regarding the condo and the building amenities. It holds true that all of our guests do thoroughly enjoy the stay based on the location, the condo and its amenities.
My sincere apologies for the slight delay during the check-out (it was scheduled for 6:30am on the Sunday morning and but unfortunately I could only make it to the condo at 6:45am). We hope the minor fault will not deter you from visiting or staying with us in Vancouver. My level of service and commitment to our guests who stay with us is unparalleled among comparable vacation rental property owners in Vancouver

Left on 07/27/2010 for a stay in July 2010
This apartment was very modern, clean and comfortable. Not much of a view -- but the large, private patio made up for that. Also, no air conditioning, so that may be an issue for some during the warmer months, but we didn't mind. The location is very convenient and within walking distance of many interesting downtown neighborhoods. The pool area and rooftop garden are lovely and we took advantage of those quite a bit. Shawn, the manager, was very helpful and kind. A great experience!

The apt was very comfortable, although the living area was a bit cramped for 4 people staying. The kitchen and appliances were all very clean. I would recommend rearranging the living area furniture to make the space bigger. The master bedroom's bed was very comfortable and the room was sizable.
Shawn was helpful with the pre-check-in, check-in and check-out process. -

Left on 06/17/2010 for a stay in June 2010
When traveling, my wife and I look for apartments as it enable us to have a good kitchen and live more like a local which is key to good traveling. This was the second option, as the other Vancouver West property was booked. Shawn at Vancouver West provided outstanding service and attention to my wife and I and 22 yr old stepdaughter. Including offering good suggestions for local dining and small local pubs.
We were a bit hesitant with the requirement for cash only deposit. And having to time our arrival with the ability of a "host" to meet us at the building. But small pototoes compared to the great location. Extremely convenient to the Stadium/Chinatown Skytrain station which really helped. We would fully recommend to anyone to consider this rental for their stay in Vancouver. Again, kudos to Shawn at Vancouver West to help make our short visit an enjoyable one.Response from Vancouver West Living - 06/22/2010

Shawn was great, directing us from downtown Vancouver to the apartment and allowing us to check in and out at times that were more convenient to our travel arrangements.
The apartment itself is well located to access most of downtown Vancouver by foot and the Skytrain station means tha airport can be accessed in little over 30 mins for less than $5 per adult - a bargin!
We found the apartment to be clean, with excellent amenities, particularly the pool, hottub and sauna which we made good use of over the course of our stay.
In the mall adjacent to the apartment are a number of convenient shops and a food court which were useful.
Shawn had initially indicated that the area surrounding the apartment was not so nice to walk through after dark, however we did not find this to be the case.Response from Vancouver West Living - 06/15/2010
Owner
Hi Charlotte,
We're more than happy to provide for flexible check-in and out's pending availability.
The skytrain is really a great transportation link - linking up the International Airport to Downtown Vancouver and the Metro Vancouver Area. I believe its $8.25 per adult leaving from the Airport to Downtown (extra $5 levy) and its $3.25 - $5.00 from Downtown to the Airport - quite a bargain if you ask me.
We are glad you enjoyed the building amenities - there's no better way for some rest and relaxation. -

Shawn was very helpful in meeting us when we got into Vancouver late (delays on our flight and a strike on British airways). Everything was extremely smooth and the apartment worked fantastically. Location was great and the building the Keefer suite was in is excellent in every respect !
Don't hesitate, just book it !

Left on 05/03/2010 for a stay in April 2010
the unit is handy to our son and daughter-in-law, and also to downtown Vancouver, but is on a quiet street next to a park. There is a car rental place about 100 m up the street. The high rise living is a novelty for us, from a rural area, but we coped with the security, elevators and parking arrangements without any trouble.

My family and I sourced our apartment in Vancouver from Vancouver West Living. The staff (Shawn Ho) who attended to us from our enquiry over the emails, to booking and payment over the internet for the rental of the apartment and meeting us in Vancouver, provided us with prompt and excellent service throughout. We were met upon our arrival and shown our apartment and was provided with all the useful information for our stay. Upon our departure, Shawn did everything he could to get us to the airport in good time despite we overslept! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay made possible by the professionalism that Shawn and Vancouver West Living offered to us a service that can only be described in one word: EXCELLENT! We will have no hesitation to use Vancouver West Living again in our next visit to Vancouver!

We enjoyed our short Olympic stay at this modern condo right off of the Stadium/Chinatown skytrain station. The location is great if you need to any business/activities in downtown Vancouver.
The unit is modern (3 years old) and clean with great amenities. I wish I had time to work out in the gym! The owner was also really helpful with restaurant recommendations and tips. -

It was a great experience staying at this centrally located one-bedroom condo
during the first weekend of the Olympics. Although being close to Chinatown
it would have been just as great for that event too.
Clean, a helpful and friendly owner, and location that was central to everything
for convenience make this a highly recommended place to stay.
Security is good, and ease to shopping and transportation made the
experience even better.
I plan on visiting Vancouver again soon to explore more and it's a comfort
knowing a great place to call "home" during the stay. A big thumbs up and
thank you. -

Los Angeles, CAThe perfect executive/longer-term suite
Left on 12/26/2009 for a stay in December 2009
For our Christmas trip up to Vancouver of 12 days, we didn't relish the thought
of shelling out the cash required for a decent hotel. On top of the room rate,
they'd also get us on the Internet access ($15) and parking ($24) as well as all
the taxes and fees. Through our research, we found Vancouver West Living and
worked out that we'd save over 33% over 12 days, not insignificant. Through the
entire process, Shawn has been more than accessible. He's answered every question
I had and provided top-notch service.
The suites are located right by GM Place, conveniently by the Skytrain station,
a food court/small mall, Starbucks, McDonald's and Rexall drug store.
Oh, the Chinese supermarket T&T was kitty corner to the complex. In
other words, everything we needed was literally a step away.
The suite itself was great; clean and contemporary. Flat panel Sharp Aquos
LCD TV with every channel under the sun. Fully stocked kitchen.
In-suite laundry made freshening our clothes a breeze. Pool, sauna
and gym in the building was high end as well. Rooms were quiet and comfortable.
All in all I couldn't be more pleased with Shawn and Vancouver West Living.
They will be my first choice on my many return
visits to beautiful
Vancouver.

Left on 12/07/2009 for a stay in October 2009
We recently stayed at this beautiful condo in Downtown Vancouver.
It's very large and spacious. The patio was a bus as I was able to enjoy my morning coffee and newspaper. The building had some really nice amenities. I was able to take advantage of the swimming pool and take much need dip into the hot tub.
I also liked how the area is very convenient. There's a large grocery store, costco, shopping mall and cinema directly next to the building. We were also able to catch the Canucks hockey game as the stadium was directly next to it. Transportation is also very convenient as you have a stadium station within a block of the building.
Overall I would highly recommend this condo and would stay again next time I'm in Vancouver.
