Left on 01/28/2013 for a stay in December 2012
This is great place to stay while visiting Vancouver. The unit is very well appointed with a fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, TV, stereo, etc. The unit is located in Yaletown, 1 block away from Hamilton Street, where you can find several fine restaurants. Its also is walking distance to the grocery store and pharmacy. You are also 5 minutes from Granville Island, Stanley Park, Gastown, and Robson Street. Lastly, the owner (Jan Koncewicz) is very pleasant and helpful. We highly recommend this unit.

Düsseldorf, GermanyMetropole und überwältigende kanadische Natur
Left on 10/24/2012 for a stay in October 2012
In Vancouver braucht man somit kein auto.

This unit is wonderfully situated in Vancouver, with all that Yaletown has to offer. Five of us stayed very comfortably and safely in the unit. Just remember you are in a downtown environment and foam earplugs and sleep shades can add to a better night's sleep.

Left on 09/01/2011 for a stay in July 2011
This was an ideal location for our party of 6 adults, in easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, transport, tourist destinations, ferries, etc. The apartment is very well set up, with all the facilities required for a comfortable stay. It is well provisioned for dining at home, and has plenty of extra linen, towels and bedding. It was great to have a parking space, as parking is difficult in this part of Vancouver. The owner was very helpful, he met us at the apartment and showed us how everything worked.

The apartment was in an ideal location for our family weekend in Vancouver. Great shops and restaurants within easy walking distance made for a relaxing stay. The apartment is clean and airy, a little compact for six guests but it worked well for our family group of four adults and two teens. Jan was a very helpful host and provided quick responses to all emails and questions. Thank you.

This condo, albeit small, was one of a very few we found with 3 BR. The location is central to everything we wanted - loved walking to restaurants, Granville Island, art museum. Used hot tub every night. Kitchen is small, but very well-stocked. Free WiFi was helpful, but also kept dropping off. Love the small glassed in area off LR to read, watch people, etc. Could use a new couch in the LR and comfy chairs.
Response from Jan Koncewicz - 03/23/2011
Owner
This family was one of my best tenants. They got rid of the garbage, washed all dishes, and even took the sheets of the beds and made them ready for quick washing. I was impressed! Obviously with their high standards they also have high expectations. Here is my response:
-- Two of the chairs in the living room might indeed not be very comfortable and I will make sure to replace them.
-- The wireless connection usually works fine, but it seems that it is not compatible with some computer setups. If that happens, the option is to connect your notebook with the internet by the way of a connecting cable. -

Jan was most helpful with booking and collection of the key very easy. The apartment was very central to Robson Street and the train station. Yaletown had great restaurants and services. Space in smallest bedroom a bit tight. Deposit was refunded within 7 days of departure. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Jan we had a great time in Vancouver!

SeattleComfortable place with room for friends or family
Left on 12/03/2010 for a stay in November 2010
Our stay here was perfect. The place has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, so it can comfortably sleep six. Everything we needed was there - wireless internet, tv and dvd (though we never watched it because there was too much to do), washer/dryer, full kitchen and dinning area.
There is a shared sauna in the community gym and a hot tub on the community patio. We had the hot tub all to ourselves each time we used it.
The condo is located three blocks from one skytrain line and six blocks from the other. All of downtown was walkable from here and parks and water taxis (to granville island and other places) along false creek were a few blocks away. If you are from Seattle, the neighborhood, Yaletown, has the feel of Belltown without the rough edges. Trendy, upscale and new. That may be perfect for you, and if not, other neighborhoods are mere blocks away.

Left on 10/24/2010 for a stay in October 2010
This was my first trip to Vancouver, travelling with 3 other lady friends - celebrating my big milestone birthday. Originally were going to be 6 of us - apartment would have been cramped with 6 people. We stayed 7 days - Great price for what you get!!
Awesome landlord!
Jan the owner: personable/professional, pleasant/charming, reliable/accommodating - great sense of humor. He added a nice touch by meeting with us at the condo upon our arrival.
We appreciated the time he spent going over security features of the building, in addition to info about surrounding areas. Jan was an easy phone call away - always accessible, responsive whenever we needed assistance.
Jan promptly refunded our reservation deposit within 2 days of our departure.
Apartment & building
This 3 bedrm/2 bath apt. is on the 2nd flr well kept, fresh/ clean, nice lay-out, good natural light. . 1 bed per room (double-size) - only drawback: wasn't able to close the door to the smaller bedrm - foot of the bed blocking the door. The gym/sauna/Jacuzzi area is on same floor. Accommodations comfortable, nicely furnished - felt right at home like locals.
Amenities readily available in kitchen, bathrooms, bedrms.
Pots/pans/knives are professional quality. Working kitchen can only fit 2 at a time. We made several meals. We were able to park our rented car in Jan's stall - but he should be informed if you have a rental car to accommodate parking space for you.
The building has approx. 200 units - clean & well maintained, even their recycled/garbage rm is very clean and organized.
Location
Condo location was exceptional and the gateway to great shopping/dining within walking distance. A very trendy and urban neighborhood. It was enjoyable just to walk out on the street each morning. We felt an instant connection with this beautiful city.

Our first visit to Vancouver was wonderful. The experience of staying in a great apartment in an ideal location made us feel like locals and we all felt that we could easily live in this great city.
The apartment has access to a spa which the teenagers loved and is also across the road from a nice neighbourhood park and organic grocer. Atttractions and shopping were within easy walking distance or subway stop. Perfect. -

Prestigeous location, no need for a car, everything closeby, walking distance. Very good experience and the price is right. Jan, the owner is very reliable and informative, very professional guy.

Minneapolis, MinnesotaGreat location! Just right!
Left on 07/22/2010 for a stay in July 2010
We highly recommend staying in this Vancouver apartment. Our extended family of seven adults stayed for six nights (the 7th person was a pre-agreement with the owner). We found it to be clean, welcoming, and appropriately furnished. We cooked breakfast in the fully-equipped kitchen each morning, as well as a delicious fresh, seasonal seafood dinner. Quality organic grocery stores near by and Granville Market is just across False Creek with inexpensive seasonal offerings (including fish market). Located in Yaletown, most restaurants and stores were a bit trendy/spendy, but an impressive variety was within easy walking distance. We really appreciated the free parking stall, since we took two day-trips. There is, however, plenty to see and do for everyone, even without a car. We explored most of the downtown and waterfront areas on foot, including a good bit of Stanley Park. The owner, Jan, was an easy phone call away, but we never found a reason to ask for assistance. The accommodations were just right.

The location is indeed perfect, and the owner was nice, helpful and always available. Everything would be perfect if not for the missing saucepan. We enjoy cooking and having well equipped kitchen is important to us... HOwever it is a minor thing and we still give 5 star for the total experience.

Left on 03/31/2010 for a stay in August 2009
We spent one nice week in this apartment. Although it is advertised as a place
for 6 people, the owner had agreed for the 7 of us. In addition to a double
bed, there was a small sofa-bed in the master bedroom that made it possible
for us to accommodate the 7th person.
It is a very good location for staying in Vancouver. You can get everywhere on
foot. But the greatest advantage of staying in this place is the price. The cost
per night per one person was DIRT CHEAP when compared with the hotel rates
in the area. -

Left on 03/31/2010 for a stay in December 2009
We spent a very active Christmas in Vancouver. The apartment owner (Jan)
accepted our last minute reservation on Thursday, Dec. 24. We drove 3 hours
from Seattle and landed in the apartment the same evening. In spite of last
minute reservation everything went fine and we came back after a week of
fabulous skiing in Vancouver and Whistler. I can only recommend Jan’s place
for anyone interested in visiting Vancouver, especially that it is perfectly
located on the edge of Yaletown, with great choices of restaurants and
boutique shops. The owner was very accommodating and easy to deal with.
My only complaint is the not-so-good weather. We will definitely come again! -

MontrealGreat Location, Smooth Organization
Left on 03/30/2010 for a stay in July 2009
Our group of 5 (two families) stayed in this apartment for the first week of August’09. The beds were very comfortable, the sheets and towels were fresh and clean. We practically did not use the kitchen so I do not have any opinion about it, although it seemed to have had everything in place if someone would like to cook their own meals. In my opinion the best attribute of this place is its location. It is close to the waterfront and two parks; a charming small park with a fountain is across the street. It is practically surrounded by great restaurants, and a bank is just half a block away. Budget car rental was also only three blocks away, but you don’t really need a car unless you go out of town. We rented a car for our trip to Whistler. It would probably be really hard to find a better Vancouver location for a tourist. I absolutely recommend this place for any visitor to this beautiful city. If we come back, we will definitely stay here again. Everything went very smoothly and we got our damage deposit back the next day after our departure.

Due to a major renovation of our suburban house we had to move out and find another location for a few weeks. We concluded that it was a good opportunity for us to experience Vancouver’s downtown living. Jan helped us move to his apartment and was easily available during the whole period of our stay. We enjoyed Yaletown living a lot and felt like being on vacation. We went to the opera twice and often went out to eat in the neighboring restaurants. It was also a treat to have afternoon walks along the waterfront up to Stanley Park and back. Great location! Great service! Thanks Jan.
