"This popular suite features 2 full bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms each with a soaker tub. Master suite has its own full private bath as well as a private balcony. This suite is about 1,200 sq feet and located on the penthouse level of this 7 storey building. Built in 2007.

Terrible Customer Service...Beware of Malibu Investment Properti

We had numerous issues with our visit and were very dissatisfied with our stay. We were on vacation in Vancouver, and this was really disappointing.
The issues were as follows:
We arrived to check in on Monday, 6/27 only for Nikki to tell us that no one had informed her that we were checking in. We had to wait 2 1/2 hours until she cleaned the condo. This was extremely inconvenient since we were unable to check in until 8:30PM. I find this completely unacceptable since we had confirmed via email when and what time we had planned to check in the previous week (Coleen initiated the email, I responded and Nikki confirmed). I also called 1 hour ahead to let them know we were arriving. Since Coleen was unavailable, the person who took my call informed me "she didn't handle that" and she said she would forward the message of our arrival. She gave me the impression she had no idea what was going on, and this does not give the best impression to the customer. This call should've been at least a warning if the condo wasn't cleaned. They could've started cleaning prior to our arrival and would've had at least a head start to prevent further delay.
While checking in, Nikki confirmed that someone would meet us at the condo at 10am to check us out. This did not happen and was also unacceptable. I had to call twice to confirm someone was coming to check us out and someone did not show up until 10:30am. If I hadn't called, how long would it have taken before someone showed up?
Finally, when I spoke to Coleen while we were waiting to check out, she said that she would address these issues by the end of last week. It is now Wednesday of the following week, and I have yet to hear from her.
These issues are completely unprofessional and were completely avoidable. The most frustrating part is that there was nothing done to address the situation. We were given free parking, a value of about $40, which really does not even begin to compensate us for the issues.
Additionally, upon check in, the condo had the following issues:
There were no washcloths provided in either of the bathrooms.
The electrical outlet in one of the bathrooms was not working. This was extremely inconvenient since there were 4 of us staying in the condo.
There were numerous cosmetic issues with the condo. You get a certain impression from "luxury corporate suites" and this definitely did not meet those standards.
Suggestions:
They should provide a kitchen towel or paper towels. They expect us to do dishes and clean the kitchen, but don't provide anything to dry dishes.
There was no top sheet on the double bed. The comforter provided was more appropriate for 40 degree weather, not the summer temperatures.
Also, the parking spot that comes with the condo is only for "small cars." No one informed us of this prior to our stay, so if someone had a large SUV or truck, they wouldn't have been able to fit in the spot.
