Description

This ground level one bedroom apartment boasts a brand new, eat-in, kitchen with granite counter tops and wooden cabinets. The kitchen is chef inspired and contains every kitchen item you might wish for. Spices and basic staples supplied - coffee, tea, flour, sugar, spices and many condiments. All brand new stainless steel appliances. It has a separate bedroom with a full four piece bathroom, wood vanity with a granite top, and a full sized washer and dryer. Quality cotton linens and towels. The floors are solid cherry wood and the view looks towards a beautiful willow tree-lined lake. All this and it's only a six minute walk to the city's transit hub. It where the sky train can whisk you downtown in about eight minutes. Centrally located, it is about a 20 minute drive to the local mountains and the ocean. The property has a lovely back yard with a garden and a picturesque outdoor seating area surrounded by flowers and lilac bushes. The suite is completely private and has it's own entry. There is a flat screen TV with cable and wifi. Parking is included. There is a recreation facility across the street that has a wonderful fitness centre overlooking Trout Lake. Yoga classes, ice rink, and tennis courts. Tranquil Trout Lake Park has picnic areas and playground. In summer there is a farmers market selling locally grown produce. Many festivals in the park throughout the year. Lots to do and see. This will be your home away from home, and your friendly hosts will see to it that you are totally comfortable and will want for nothing.

Has all things necessary for your stay. We found bed very soft and to us not comfortable,the only adverse feature otherwise all good.

Response from the owner We actually have had many compliments on the comfort of the bed. It is a high end Tempurpedic mattress. But of course everyone has a different idea of what constitutes comfort for them. As with any complaints for all hosts, if the guests could discuss any issues at the beginning of their stay, then considerate hosts like ourselves can do whatever they can to make their guests enjoy their stay to the fullest. Case in point, we have a pillow top that would have made the bed a little firmer.

It certainly was a little gem.Everything was perfect ,a cosy little place and very relaxing . The off street parking was also very handy,most certainly would stay there again.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Iris (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
