Myrtle Suite: A delightful accommodation ~ a charming area ~ spectacular scenery ~ centrally located.

Suite Summary

Myrtle Suite is a spacious and bright garden level suite within a fully renovated character home. This suite is part of a larger house where the owners reside. The suite is approximately 750 sf and provides 1 bedroom with queen-sized bed plus a queen sofa bed in the living area. You share with us a sunny back garden that in the summer blooms with flowers, herbs and grape vines. The living area has a large picture window looking out onto the front garden and offers a gorgeous view of our mountains and a peek-a-boo ocean view.

Getting around

We are just two blocks from local public bus transport - and it's a 20 minute bus ride to Gastown and into central downtown Vancouver where you can connect to go just about anywhere. It is about 10 blocks up to our local "high street", East Hastings Street, where you'll find all manner of shops, cafes and restaurants. By car, we're about 10 minutes into downtown, 5 minutes to Highway 1, 40 minutes from the Airport, 50 minutes to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal and 30 minutes to the Horseshoe Bay Ferry.

Interaction with guest

We tend to give our guests privacy other than initially introducing ourselves. But often we are privileged to get to know our guests a bit while they are here and are available in case they have questions about the area.

Why can't I call Toni (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I make changes to my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Toni (the owner) a message.

If Toni (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
