This substantial English owned family property is located in an elevated secluded hillside location with stunning views and sunsets over the Rhone valley vineyards. The nearby village of Séguret is one of the top 100 most beautiful and well restored villages in France with good local restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. Nearby Vaison La Romaine with its Roman remains is a bustling town with one of the best weekly markets in Vaucluse. Local antique markets are nearby and many grand cru vineyards, such as Gigondas and Rasteau offer opportunities for wine tasting experiences. A superb area to explore, either by car, on foot or along the many cycle tracks in the vicinity close to the Dentelles de Mont Mirail. Orange is only 20 minutes away by car with its famous amphitheatre and opera nights and Avignon only 40 minutes by car to see the famous bridge. In the summer the region provides many cultural activities including the Vaison Dance festival and local village activities

  There was nothing about the accommodation, setting or location we would have wanted to change. After endless rain in the UK we had our fingers crossed for sun and were not disappointed with temperatures in the high 20's and low 30's during the day and cooler at night.
  The Villa provides a lot of space and is very well fitted out. The indoor and outdoor furniture is comfortable with well placed chairs and tables around the terraced areas to enjoy the sun/shade during the day.
  A very good sized warm pool with plenty of seating and sunbathing areas and a hard cover keeps the pool warm and children out over-night.
  The gardens were well designed and maintained.

  We like the northern Provence location a lot. A combination of flourishing vineyards, olive groves and beautiful hillside villages is hard to beat. Add in the hills/mountains of the Ventoux area which lie behind and beyond the villa and it really is a place to move to!
  Nearby Vaison La Rommaine (about 6 km) is a pretty market town providing good shopping with a choice of supermarkets. The larger town of Orange and the city of avignon are only 30 - 40 minutes drive.
  Booking was very easy and we were met at the Villa on arrival.
