Left on 09/29/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Steve and alison are exceptional hosts and the Villa exceeded all expectations. The grounds, pool, boules court and outdoor dining were spectacular. The kitchen was so well appointed that we opted to cook in most nights rather than try some of the wonderful restaurants recommended by alison. Steve solved any internet/phone problems. Although the Villa is in a location which allows visits of many historic sites it was hard to leave the Villa. Early each morning we cycled or hiked to Vaison or Villedieu for coffee and pain chocolate. The four ensuites were all equally wonderful. A ride up Mont Ventoux will never be forgotten. We all agreed that we would go back in a heart beat.

This villa is fabulous. The location is ideal. Surrounded by vineyards with wonderful views of Mont Ventoux the villa is peaceful and yet you are a short drive from many small wine villages and from the town of Vaison-la-Romaine with its shops, restaurants and incredible weekly market (Tuesdays).
The house has been lovingly restored by its owners and designed and furnished with real taste and style. There are four bedrooms, all en-suite and all with air-conditioning units.
The kitchen is fabulously equipped with everything you could want, including a full ranges of glasses and decanters, cooking utensils and pans, microwave and a coffee machine. We have rarely stayed in self-catering accommodation with such good provision for cooking.
The house has a great pool with a shaded area, and a great "den" for kids to retreat to for watching Dvds or playing games when it's too hot outside. There is a floodlight boules pitch and swings for the kids.
There's no denying that the property is expensive to stay in, but it is utterly fabulous.

Left on 08/12/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We stayed here for the first two weeks of June, 2012, our third trip to the Côtes du Rhône region. Previously we stayed in the town of Sablet, which was great but had little space for running around.
This house is perfect for families (we have three children under 10). It has space, games for the children, and a secure pool. It is literally surrounded by vineyards, with a wonderful view of Mont Ventoux. It is a quiet country home and yet all necessities are within a five minute drive. Steve and alison are very helpful and conscientious. -

2 Families stayed at Le Clos des Pins at the end of June 2012 and had a wonderful time. The house is lovely, equipped with everything you need, and the location is beautiful. Steve and alison were so friendly and great to work with. I had an unfortunate medical incident right before we arrived, and they helped set up a nurse to come visit me at the house so I wouldn't have to deal with it. There was an issue with Internet connection and Steve was very quick and responsive and found a solution immediately so that our husbands could join us on vacation and still be able to do some work. The bedrooms are spacious, clean and inviting. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was a lifesaver. I wish there was one room upstairs that had air conditioning as sometimes we would have to escape to our individual rooms to cool off, but it was easy to deal with. The kitchen was fully stocked and lovely - we enjoyed cooking meals in it. And to sit out on the patio, enjoying a meal made with fresh food from the local farmer's market while staring out over the vineyards was amazing. The owners also provide a guestbook with plenty of information on activities, restaurants, etc. I wish the restaurant recommendations included information on the type of food served, but they were very useful anyway. We had a fabulous experience at Le Clos des Pins and hope to be able to return soon!

Tel Aviv, IsraelThe most beautiful family vacation ever!
Left on 07/16/2012 for a stay in April 2012
We found this rental villa through Tripadvisor. It came highly recommended and suited our search for 4 bedrooms, each with a private bathroom.
We celebrated our 60th birthday there with our three children and their spouses. We arrived after midnight on a long flight and drive from the airport but our wonderful hosts Steve and Elison met us for a very nice welcome at the villa. throughout our stay they were the kindest and most helpful hosts we could hope for. (Steve gave us the best restaurants recommendations!)
The villa was just beautiful! we couldn't imagine anything so perfect. It is beautifuly decorated in a very calming and graceful style. The kitchen and dining room were so comfortable and really had everything we wanted and needed. The living room with it's fireplace was so inviting and comfortable. We spent very happy times there together. The area is beautiful, the vines blooming all around. We keep mentioning the villa in our conversations and it lives in our memory as a beautiful dream...Thank you Steve and alison! -

We stayed for a week in July 2011 with my family. The photos absolutely do not do this property justice. The house and views are stunning. The house itself is very spacious, with 4 large air-conditioned rooms. My favourite spot was the outside table overlooking the surrounding country and mountains. We ate most of our meals here with plenty of very reasonable local wine but did also venture into Vaison for a lovely lunch. The owners alison & Steve were very welcoming and really helpful. There is a couple of bikes which were useful for getting fresh croissants in the morning from the local village (ahh yum). As mentioned by other reviews, the poolside Den has Dvds and some games for the kids. There is also a good covered area by the pool if you need the shade. The kitchen has everything you could need plus more. The coffee machine was excellent!

Left on 09/06/2011 for a stay in August 2011
This beautiful villa is just a great relaxing place to stay.We went with family and young grandchildren and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the holiday.
The little ones loved the pool and the Den with it's games and Dvds and did not want to go anywhere else.
The location is the perfect blend between serenity yet with proximity to all amenities for shopping, eating out etc.-and of course if like us you like wine the possibilities are endless-Gigondas,Vaqueras,Rasteau,Chateau-neuf-du-Papeand many more all within easy reach.
All the rooms and fittings in the villa are of the highest standard and taste levels and even exceed the high expectations created by the very comprehensive web-site.
Last but not least the owners-Steve and alison could not have been more helpful or friendly right from first contact through to meeting them on our arrival and during our stay.
We all had a great time and would love to go back in the future. -

This is our 2nd visit to Le Clos des Pins, having visited with 8 adults last year and immeditely booked for our family holiday with children and grandchildren for this year. Superb location 5k from Vaison and 3k from village of Villedieu. Extremely well appointed villa with every comfort provided for. The owners attention to detail shows with the addition of a 'den' near the pool for the children, equipped with table football, Dvd's etc - well thought out. A variety of eateries available in the immediate vicinity, from fine dining to children friendly, the family partcularly liked the village of Villedieu and the 3 eateries there - well worh a visit. I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa for families with children or just the grown ups! Needless to say we have re-booked for next year.

WinnipegAwsome Villa
Left on 07/01/2011 for a stay in June 2011
We were three couples in our 50's who stayed here for a week. It could not have been a better place to stay. It was so nice we wanted to spend as much time as we could in the villa yet still explore the many wonderful little villages around. Therefore we cooked and ate all our dinners in the villa. The view from the terrace table is so beautiful. Why would you want to eat elsewhere? The kitchen is very well stocked. The villa is very spacious, with everything you could ever need. If you have teenagers there is a separate little cottage for them with a foosball table, tv a great place for them to hang out.
The four bedrooms were all very nice and the house was quiet. The study was a good place to go and do some work on the computer if necessary but there is wi-fi so you have computer access even from the pool
The villa is more impressive in person than in the pictures .
The location is very good, so much to explore in the area and the town of Vaison la Romaine, is just a short drive away.
Steve and alison have thought of everything to make sure you have a great time. On arriving there was milk and juice in the fridge, a platter of fruit, cookies and jam and most importantly a bottle of wine. A very nice welcome. They have also compiled a book with the places they recommend you should visit and they are always available if you have any questions.
Would love to go back and stay again. -

Left on 01/26/2011 for a stay in October 2009
Steve and alison have made a wonderful villa with all the details looked after. The villa is generous, very comfortable and tastefully decorated - a true pleasure to be in. The terrace, the views, the pool and grounds - and being surrounded by vineyards all make up a unique, warm and peaceful haven. We stayed for the whole month and there are still things we would like to see or do again.
Getting around the area and shopping were easy - good roads, no traffic and many places to see. We even travelled to Bonnieux in the Luberon without any difficulty.
Vaison la Romaine with its sites, shops and market is a gem and the many small towns like Ste Cecile les Vignes, St. Paul Trois Chateaux, and Beaumes de Venice are those elusive off-the-beaten track, non-touristy places you hope to find and enjoy all-to-yourselves.
I won't even try to describe the wines - words could never do justice. [PS - The locals do keep the best for themselves ;<) ] -

Left on 11/22/2010 for a stay in August 2010
We celebrated our Wedding anniversary with our family at a Villa and in a location that were truly memorable. The Villa exceeded our expectations in terms of decor, facilities and space - we had been impressed by the website (but it was even better when viewed for real!) - and its enviable location in the middle of a vineyard with uninterrupted views of the Provencal countryside and Mt. Ventoux will last in our memories for ever. The attentive but discreet owners who lived in a nearby village - Steve and alison Infante - were always available to provide advice or assistance. The best bit was, well, just about everything. The worst bit - leaving it at the end of our stay.

4 spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms, each with equally spacious private bathrooms!

a great swimming pool that remained clean all week despite 9 people taking many dves every day
a magnificent view on the Ventoux, rural and quiet location
friendly English owners who provided fast service (problems with the dish washer resolved within 1 day)
great place for wine lovers wanting to explore the Rhone area and for those wanting to indulge in local food (at Villedieu- the tapas bar) or in Michelin star food (Le Grand Pré in Roaix), all within 3 km.

Left on 10/11/2010 for a stay in October 2009
The welcome and care was extraordinary and the home was immaculate. Shopping and weekly market in Vaison La Romaine was great and the home is well located for day trips to various villages and towns of interest; yet still ensures privacy tucked amongst the vineyards. After a month there we seemed to have left a bit of ourselves behind. Cannot find a negative feature to critique.

Both Steve and alison from our first email were responsive, efficient and honest with answers to our queries. Very helpful too much maps and directions on how to access the house and a great welcome when we arrived. Our family (Dad, Mum 14yr daughter and 9 yr son) had a fabulous holiday in Clos des Pins. A must for anyone who wants to be spoilt in a fabulous self catering chateau. Table games, cards, boules outside, great swimming pool and the location made for the best of holidays.

This was our third visit to Le Clos des Pins - and once again we had an excellent holiday. We know this area very well, and this is our favourite place. We find this house provides the perfect mix of comfort, location and facilities. The house works for a couple and right up to a group of eight - never overcrowded, nor feeling as if one is rattling around. The excellent en-suite facilities and well-equipped kitchen (all so clean!), plus dining on the patio and relaxing by the pool, both with views of Mont Ventoux, are our highlights. The situation is perfect for visits to local towns and pretty villages with opportunities for eating out, markets, wineries, as well as trips to major sights such as avignon, etc. And finally, Alison and Steve are the most perfect hosts!

Everything about the stay was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and kind, the location was absolutely perfect and of course the house was absolutely gorgeous. The photos do not do it justice.
I only wish that I could stay there for a month every year.
We have rented a bunch of houses in lots of different countries and this one has got to be my favorite. I have so many fond memories drinking wine on the patio, lounging and even working in that gorgeous office.
Thanks for a wonderful week!

Le Clos des Pins is a beautifully presented house with superb accommodation. Each bedroom is differently decorated with an ensuite. The kitchen is really well equipped and great for spending hours cooking and eating the local produce. The garden is fabulous, my favourite part was a covered area at the bottom of the garden amongst the pines and rosemary. Perfect for sundowners. The owners Steve and alison did everything to make our visit perfect, providing everything we needed. Although you do need a car, it's in a great location with heaps to do for adults and kids.
