We had such a great stay. The house was beautiful and everything was perfect. The house is located steps from the beach and food kiosks. Although it was very hot, there is a cool breeze at the house that you do not even need to turn on the fans in the house. I visited with my dad and my 2 daughters 6&8. They all had a great time as well. My dad and girls enjoyed taking walks by the beach and marina every morning. We walked to have breakfast every morning. The house was very secure and we felt very safe. Everyone in the neighborhood was friendly as well. We look forward to staying here once again in the near future. Carlos and Nilsa were also very helpful and responsive with all aspects of the rental process. Thanks so much for letting us stay at your place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Vega Baja. The house was perfect! Only a block from the beach, grocery store and a local hangout. The owner was readily available with any questions or concerns . It can get loud on the weekends though , also an occasional "reggaeton" drive by at 1 am played as loud as they can get it!!
It was approximately 45 from San Juan. Traffic throughout the island is horrible, so give yourself plenty of time to get around. -

It's a nice place for a peaceful beach holiday. Beach almost empty during the week, mostly local families at weekend. Apartment satisfactory, everything worked. Very close to beach. Quiet street. Need to do some driving if interested in sightseeing.

The house was very clean and roomy with all the privacy we could ever want. Everything worked including the wifi & cable TV. I only wished it was located on the beach instead of a couple hundred yards, but we knew this when we rented it. Thanks for a great time!!

The condo was immaculate when we arrived. The television and lights were left on for us since we were arriving at night. The place is great...we felt very much at home.
Nilsa is amazing. She was the perfect "land-lord/lady". She made us feel very comfortable and did her utmost to not disturb us at all.
Thank you Nilsa!!! We will be back soon. -

The condo was very clean and very comfortable, very efficient with having a kitchen. The location was perfect. Walking distance to the beach which was beautiful-clear water. Loved it,,,Cooked food for sale walking distance also, and bar and pool tables walking distance. Overall we had an awesome time. Thank you Nilsa and Carlos for the use of your rental loved it...Until next time...and I will tell my family and friends about your place also...Thanks again

We stayed at Nilsa's condo for 14 days. There was six of us 2 grandparents 2 adults and two kids ages 8 & 12. The pictures do not do it justice, there was plenty of room for all of us. You are only steps from the beach and a short drive to the town centre of vega baja. Nilsa was extremely helpful to all our needs and gave us great advice on places to go and see! This property was the best value and location for anyone who wants to explore the whole island and the beach was great for the kids with snorkelling in protected pools. Thanks Nilsa we loved your island!! Can't wait to come back!

Wir waren fĂ¼r 4 Tage in Nilsa & Carlos apartement und waren rundum zufrieden. Der e-mail-Kontakt war sehr freundlich, die RĂ¼ckĂ¼berweisung der Kaution hat auch geklappt. Die Zimmer waren alle sauber und Waschmaschine, Toaster etc. waren funktionstĂ¼chtig. Die Ăœbergabe des SchlĂ¼ssels hat auch super funktioniert. Insgesamt kann man die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Everything was there for us. It was so tropical and clean. The location was perfect One block from beach and all walking distance. The best was conveince to everything. the only thing I did not like was alot of the resturant closed early but we always found one. We plan on renting with nilsa and Carlos next year for 2 weeks. We all loved it.

I can't begin to tell you how enjoyable my vacation in Puerto Rico was and I must say that it had a lot to do with all of us staying in your house. My entire gang (husband, three adult sons, one with a wife, a 4yo and a baby) still ranting and raving. Traveling with babies is not easy and all your details made it so much bearable.
The place was cleaned, spacious and with everything I needed to continue my lifestyle. We cooked, we played cards, we walked to the beach at all times, and when something was needed it was just a short/quick drive away. Even when I did not feel like cooking, there were fun restaurants or my kids just walked out of the house and came back with all kinds of goodies. All the rooms were roomy and private giving space to those that wanted to sleep late.Having the bedrooms & bathroom upstairs gave privacy. Having a porch, terrace & patio gave a space to everyone to chill and be themselves.
Just to think how much we talked when I was making all the arrangements, and how well you accommodated all my needs. It was like going to stay in my own home away from home.
We can't thank you enough. See you next year.

Me and my boyfriend just loved staying at this condo! The location was awesome! A quick 2 minute walk to the beach and what a sight it is. Absolutely breathtaking! There's a local grocery store about 5 minutes down the road and then a larger super market called Super Max about 10-12 minutes off of the main road near Walgreens and fast food restaurants. If you are looking for a clean, comfy place to stay that's near the beach, then you've found it! I highly recommend this place to anyone!

We (My wife, two kids 6 months and 3 years and mother-in-law) arrived in Puerto Rico, picked-up our car and started driving using the directions provided by Nilsa. Her directions were excellent. Rental house was very clean; Nilsa is very kind, I never meet her but I felt I knew her for a long time. There is a supermarket just 2 minutes driving next to the rental house, they sale everything you will need. There are some little bars walking distance around the Rental place. The beach is in a walking distance; in short we had a very good time
The only advice I can give is do not feed the street dogs, because they will start following you everywhere and it gets very irritating. Also, unfortunately most people in Puerto Rico they only speak Spanish, so you have to try to speak some Spanish, between my wife and I we speak 5 languages and none of them was Spanish so we had some difficulty some places. Off course if you go to touristic area there are people speaking English but we wanted to go places that are not touristic so that is why we had some difficult time communicating but overall it was very fun.
At the end of our vacation we cleaned the rental and put the keys back in the lock box and we got our deposit back via paypal… thank you Nilsa, we will go to Puerto Rico probably in 2 years when our kids are a little older. -

I stayed one week at Nilsa's beach house the last week of april of this year. The beach house is in a great location, no far from the San Juan area. The house was clean and neat. It has everything that you need to ejoy a comfortable stay. But what I really enjoy the most was the beautiful beach of Vega Baja. I highly recommended this place, you will not regret.

This place is a paradise. My sister and I had the best time of our life at the Beach House owned by Nilsa and Carlos. I met Nilsa personally and she is a lovely lady that made us feel at home immediately. The house is gorgeous and extremely clean. Nelly and her husband were great. We just bought the food to prepare our meals, because the house came with all the pots and pans you need. Linen and towels were also provided. I would definitely going back to the beach house on my next visit to Puerto Rico.

I took my husband to the island for the first time this past month of March. We rented Nilsa and Carlos beach house because it was so affordable. The experience, location and treatment from Nilsa and Carlos absolutely great! The apartment was clean, spacious and real close to the beach. It is also very close to the carretera #2, old main road, wich takes you to all the shopping you may need, food, clothe, pharmacy, fast food, restaurant etc. There are also places you can eat within walking distance from the apartment. We loved it and would definetly go back! Thanks for everything guys!

We were in Vega Baja for a wedding and needed a nice place to stay. We preferred one close to the beach. This place is very close to a very lovely beach. Our experience was wonderful and I would gladly stay here again. The owner was very nice and followed up to make sure our stay was satisfactory.

My family and I spent over a week at this wonderful location in February 2012.
The home is clean, spacious and very close to the beach. It has all the amenities listed and everything is in working order. The rooms are spacious and clean as well. There is gated parking in both the front and rear of the property. It is a 5 minute drive to the nearest supermarket and other local shops. The beach that the property is located by is wonderful, calm waters and clean sand with plenty of space to lay out and soak in the sun.
Owners Nilsa and Carlos are friendly and very helpful. They were available and very helpful when I called them at midnight because I got lost along the way (totally my fault, directions to the house are very straightforward). Nilsa checked in several times during the week to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything.
During the days, a local truck parks nearby and sells pinchos (meat on a stick/shish kebabs). There are also local vendors that sell food and drinks on the beach as well.
This property is fantastic and very close to many amazing beaches like Los Tubos and Mar Chiquita. I will most certainly be renting again at this location this year. -

If you are looking to relax in real PR hospitality, this the place. My husband and i stayed and invited my sister, and mom. We were all very comfortable. Nilsa was very accommodating.
The layout is great and we were able to prepare some meals at the apt. Great cable. Basic utensils, pots, dishesq, coffe maker. You will just need to buy food. The are markets and stores within a 10 minute drive.
I would a place to get a cheap beach chair.
On the corner are local food vendors and a restaurant wher you can grab a quick bite. Get yourself some Pinchos the PR version of kabobs with just meat. Chicken , pork or Marlin or get alcapurias a meet stuffed goody. The restaurant has the coldest Coronas.
The beach is great. Waves are strong so we keep to the part protected by the coral reefs. The water is crystal clear.

My family and I had a great time during our stay at the Vega Baja unit. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Nilsa Costales and given a tour of the unit. She made sure that we knew everything there was to be known and maintained contact with us throughout the vacation. It was great and the unit was really nice and comfortable. I will definitely be reffering, My Beach House Vacation Rentals.
