Vela Luka is the largest town on the island of Kor?ula. It is situated on its west side, at the centre of a 9, 2 km long bay.

At the very entrance to the bay of Vela Luka there is Proizd, a little island with a beach chosen as the most beautiful Adriatic beach in 2007.
