Vence is a small peaceful town in Cote d'Azur in the southern France. It is ideally situated for exploration of the surrounding area. Distance is about 20 minutes from Nice airport and 15 km from the Mediterranean
Vence is a medieval town, where the old town centre has been preserved, with its narrow crooked streets, fountains and cosy restaurants.
In the town you will find many fascinating historical buildings. We recommend a visit to Chapelle du Rosaire, decorated by Matisse. From the top of Col de Vence (970 m) there is a unique view over the Alps and down the mountains to the Mediterranean.
The south of France is a Mekka for golfers and it is possible to play on a new course every day of your holiday. The Riviera is ideal for your golf holidays in France. Within an hours ride you will find approximately 20 golf courses

Had a great week in this apartment which was well-equipped, very, very cozy in a very southern French way! Wonderful hosts who went out of their way to make us feel at home at offered great service with regards to recommending everything from restaurants to hairdressers and running routes! Would recommend this to anyone planning a trip to the area which on the minus side is crowded by tourists in the summer and rather expensive but on the plus side is beautiful and has everything - scenic landscapes, beaches, culture and activities for any kind of family. If you go - stay with Bent and Iwona!

Dejlig ferielejlighed i Vence - med flot udsigt. Skøn have med pool og udendørs opholdsplads.
Det dansktalende værtspar er fantastisk venlige og hjælpsomme.
Huset ligger perfekt for ture i det dejlige Sydfrankrig. Den franske riviera med det acurblå hav - Nice - Sct. Paul de Vence og mange flere skønne steder ligger lige i nærheden. Derudover er Vence en rigtig hyggelig by.
Vi vender tilbage igen og igen ( 4. gang til næste år)og kunne ikke forestille os at vi skulle vælge et andet sted at bo. -

Very nice and large rooms. The host are very helpfull and friendly. Placed with a great view over the valley. Very nice pool area. 15 min walk from Center of Vence.
I can only recommend a stay here. -

We stayed in Maison L´Ara for a good week, and besides the friendly atmosphere we really enjoyed that we could walk to town, walk to the bus station and go sightseeing without the need of a car. This was like a home away from home.
