Vence is a small peaceful town in Cote d'Azur in the southern France. It is ideally situated for exploration of the surrounding area. Distance is about 15 minutes from Nice airport and 15 km from the Mediterranean
Vence is a medieval town, where the old town centre has been preserved, with its narrow crooked streets, fountains and cosy restaurants.
In the town you will find many fascinating historical buildings. We recommend a visit to Chapelle du Rosaire, decorated by Matisse. From the top of Col de Vence (970 m) there is a unique view over the Alps and down the mountains to the Mediterranean.
The south of France is a Mekka for golfers and it is possible to play on a new course every day of your holiday. The Riviera is ideal for your golf holidays in France. Within an hours ride you will find approximately 20 golf courses
