We rented the Buddha House - Nirvana for 1 week in July and had a wonderful time. The house is very well located, right in front of the beach in the best part of Venice, far away from the noice and the big crowds. Actually, it is located not far from Marina del Rey, but if you want to walk to where all the hustle and bustle is going on, it is only 15 minutes on foot. The view from the balcony is gorgeous because in that section of Venice, the beach is not as wide as in the rest of Venice and Santa Monica, so the ocean is much nearer to the houses and you can hear the sound of the waves. You also have wonderful sunsets!
The house has 2 comfortable bedrooms with very comfortable beds, and 2 bathrooms, one with a shower. There is also a washing machine and dryer. Oh, and the water pressure was perfect (I am always afraid of this when I rent a house...). We also had a very good experience with the people from Globe Homes and Condos, they were all very kind and we encountered absolutely no problems during the reservation and payment process. Even though some small details could be improved, as for example fixing the window that opens to the balcony (it was quite hard to open)and mayble buying some more kitchen utensils (for those who like to cook..) we highly recomend this house for a vacation in Los angeles.

Great location! The views were great to wake up to & I loved going for a run down the beach front every morning! Place was spotless. Beds were comfy! Showers were powerful! Couldn't get the tv to work but we weren't there for the TV :)
Location was a great base! We drove around la but loved coming back to our house on the beach! -

We stayed here for 5 nights in June and it was perfect. The house was immaculate, furnishings very stylish, and the location could not be better. Right on the beach, the views were amazing, sitting on the balcony watching the world go by with a glass of wine in hand made for dreamy afternoons. The house is just a short stroll to Washington ave where there are lots of lovely restaurants and convenience stores. Walking the other direction you get to the busy part of Venice beach - its close enough to walk to but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. We rode bikes up to Santa Monica Pier which took about 20 minutes easy ride. The best part of the stay was the service from Globe Rentals, Get in contact with Claire - Nothing is too much trouble for her, she organised bikes to the house for us, airport pickups, advice on dining out - she even purchased our theme park tickets for us and delivered them to the house. I have traveled throughout the world and can honestly say I have never received such genuine customer service, I was blown away. I promise you won't be disappointed with a stay at the Budda House.

Loved this house - location was perfect to enjoy the beach. We stayed in the upper level - great view of the ocean from the balcony. Go down the steps and you are on the beach. The house was clean and comfortable, nice decor. The only con I would mention is that the kitchen was not equipped with any commonly used items like salt, pepper, sugar etc. so we had to buy everything. Overall it was a wonderful stay!

Excellent rental experience - professional accomodating staff - easy check in / check out. Property is well maintained and as advertised on the website along with a prime location for sight seeing in la durng the day and enjoying the ocean in the mornings and evenings.

Our extended family ranging in age from 14 to 81 all enjoyed this beautiful home. We rented the upstairs and downstairs and had plenty of room for 12! The home is clean and comfortable with everything you need, right on the beach! We hope to return again soon.
