Loved the overall feel of the place, patio and BBQ area. A few nit-picky things: when I reserved the place, I was required to pay extra for 1 additional guest, but when we arrived, found there was no bedding or towels for this person- had to call the management to have some delivered. The rooms all looked nice, but the King mattress was in poor shape- had a large indentation on one side, made for a creative night's sleep. The basics were all provided, but we found no kitchen towels, pot holders, or a broom for cleaning during our stay.

Travelling as three couples, hotels in the Santa Monica/Venice area were proving costly so we opted for a house rental.
Upper Dudley at Venice totally fitted the bill for us.
Just half a block from the famous sands at Venice Beach, this property was just fantastic.
Three generous sized bedrooms - one with en-suite - a well stocked kitchen and the biggest washing machine I have ever seen helped to make this a really comfortable stay. The linens and towels were provided too ... Even down to beach towels.
The keyless entry meant we could all do things separately without having to worry about access to the property.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was fantastic. -

This was my first time renting through Homeaway.com and what an incredible experience! I stayed in this upper unit for 5 days. Someone was there to meet me as soon as I arrived in the area. A tour was given and all questions were answered thoroughly. I was given a phone number and email that could be used at any time (although it was not needed as everything was perfect!) I was so pleased to find that the description of the place was exactly as it was when I arrived! The property was immaculate, well maintained and provided all of the necessary amenities for a weeks stay. I saw a map of the area but was still surprised at how close the property is to the beach - just a half block away from shops, dining, and beach fun. We had 3 people staying in the unit and there was ample room for everyone. Thank you so much for a relaxing stay! When I visit the area again I will be sure to book this property!

We were very impressed with the condo. We took things because we were not sure what to expect. But the place had everything !!! Very happy . We want to plan for next year .
