A warm and welcoming apartment, directly overlooking one of the most-photographed and charming locations in Dorsoduro - the historic and very characterful Squero di San Trovaso (founded in the 17th Century and the oldest of only a tiny handful of working gondola boatyards still left in Venice today, where skilled local artisans continue to craft, maintain and repair gondolas by hand using century old methods).

Sleeping up to seven in comfort and enjoying privileged views over the junction of the Rio dei Ognissanti and the Rio de San Trovaso canals, the recently renovated Ca' Dello Squero is on the first floor and features characterful b...eams coupled with tasteful decoration throughout. Accommodation comprises a snug and cosy sitting room with plenty of comfortable seating, super canal views and warm, wooden flooring underfoot plus a well-equipped eat-in kitchen/dining room with tiled flooring, ample dining furniture and plenty of space.

There are three cheerfully furnished bedrooms, each with wooden flooring - a bright and airy double with canal views and its own sunny yellow bathroom with bathtub, a further pretty double with canal views and twin beds (which can be made into a double bed - simply ask when booking) and a third bedroom with two twin beds. The second bathroom, boldly decorated with crimson tiling, has a shower.

Peaceful and relaxing, the apartment is air-conditioned to allow clients a comfortable stay at any time of the year and has internet connection with cable.

Close to the Accademia Bridge/Academy of Fine Arts on the Grand Canal and within seconds of the Zattere promenade with its memorable panorama across to the island of Giudecca.

Within very easy reach of the renowned ‘Cantinone Gia Schiavi - Al Bottegon’, a perfect venue for a spritz and some prize winning ‘cicheti’, ‘Lo Squero’, one of the best gelateria in the city and 'Locanda Montin', one of Venice's most famous restaurants. Close to the well-stocked Billa Supermarket on the Zattere, along which you'll also find some great dining options, including the chic over-water terrace of ‘Lineadombra’ or, for something simpler, ‘Ae Oche’ with its mind-boggling variety of eat-in or takeaway pizza.

Convenient for two vaporetto stops for easy travel around the city - the ‘Zattere’ to the south and ‘Accademia’ to the north and only one minute to the Alilaguna boat stop connecting the Zattere to Venice's Marco Polo Airport.

ALL VIEWS ON VENICE RATES, IRRESPECTIVE OF LENGTH OF STAY, ARE FULLY INCLUSIVE OF ALL UTILITIES* - gas, electricity, bed linen, towels, final cleaning, welcome on arrival and check-in up until 7.30 p.m.** are all included, as are air-conditioning and internet access if available at your chosen apartment. And while the Venice Tourist Tax*** is an extra on bookings made on or after 8th May '13, there are NO HIDDEN CHARGES.

Rentals of over 7 nights also include a weekly bed linen and towel change during your stay.

* Telephone charges, where applicable, are extra.
**Arrivals between 7.30 p.m. and midnight incur a late arrival fee of €50, payable in cash upon arrival.
*** Introduced by the City of Venice Council on stays at hotels, b&b;, campsites, apartment rentals etc., this per night/per person tax is levied on the first 5 consecutive nights of a client’s stay in Venice and is payable to your Views on Venice representative in cash (euros) upon arrival at the apartment.

The Rental Deposit (40% of the rental) will be debited from your credit card when you finalise your booking with us, while the balance will be debited by you through our credit card payment gateway at least 20 days prior to your arrival. Note that if paying by bank transfer, an extra €20 administrative fee will be charged to each transaction (i.e. deposit and final payment). Click here for further details regarding payment.

The Security Deposit (the amount specified alongside the apartment rate) is required against any breakage or damages to the apartment or to its furniture and equipment caused by the client during the rental period. This is payable to Views on Venice upon presentation of your credit card upon arrival at the apartment prior to occupancy.
Credit card details will be automatically recorded and subsequently cancelled by Views on Venice on the day of departure should no breakage or damages to the apartment or its furniture and equipment have occurred during the rental period.
