MelbourneGreat location from which to explore Venice
Left on 05/13/2013 for a stay in April 2013
We had no problems finding this apartment with good directions from the owner and a good map! We were travelling with backpacks so the stairs were hard, but not as much as if we'd had suitcases. It is amazing what some people can do with a small space! My husband banged his head a few times even though he knew to duck! The flat is a little out of whack, in that there is a curvature in the floor and having to bend and duck most of the time can be hard. I also found it difficult to wash my hair (which is long) because you have only a bath and a hand held shower head (call me spoiled) and the height of the bathroom roof is not tall enough to stand in the bath and have the shower head above you. Turning off the water to soap my hair whilst sitting in the bath and then rinse it using only one hand was a bit annoying. I also would have appreciated some extra pillows, but Italians must only ever use one flat one! They were the only downers though. The location was wonderful to explore from and duck back for a drink and loo stop if you wanted to. The flat had everything needed to make it an enjoyable stay. The wifi was also an added bonus so that we could look up supermarket locations etc. I thought our stay of 2 nights was perfect and I would recommend it for short stays. I think if you are staying for much more than that, or you are taller than about 5'8, perhaps somewhere else may be better suited to you.

We stayed for a week in this apartment. Our first mistake was arriving in Venice just as it was getting dark. It was very frustrating and confusing to find the apartment. The directions could have been better. And yes, it is up several flights of stairs which isn't easy if you have heavy suitcases. But all that is forgotten upon entering the lovely apartment. My husband was more annoyed by the low beams than I was (I found them charming)but if you are more than 5ft 10inches you might want to reconsider this as a place for more than a couple of days. The location couldn't be more perfect for exploring Venice: close to some of the best sights as well as to the vaporetto which made it very easy to get around.

Gorgeous spot in a great location.
Left on 03/02/2013 for a stay in February 2013
This place could be in a magazine article featuring the best use of small spaces. Yes, as other reviewers have said, the ceilings are low, but the space has been done up absolutely beautifully. The kitchen is small but functional, the bathroom is beautiful with a large bath, and the bed was more comfortable than pretty much any hotel bed I've ever slept in. The location was great, with easy, straightforward walking access to main sights (5 minutes to Rialto/Rialto market, 2 minutes to vaporetto, 2 minutes to the Frari church, 15 minutes to accademia/ Peggy Guggenheim, 15-20 to Saint Mark's) making a vaporetto pass nonessential. However the vaporetto leaves from very nearby if you prefer it or are going further up the Grand Canal, and great for arriving and leaving with luggage as only one bridge to get over, and a small one at that! Would definitely recommend.

An ideally situated apartment for those wanting to explore Venice, either by foot or vaporetto. Just five minutes walk from Rialto Bridge and surrounded by all the essential shops, this apartment was like a home from home during my stay. The owner met me on arrival and was very accommodating about check-out time. The apartment itself is very modern and has everything you need for a short stay. The roof may seem a little low if you are tall, but I found the trick was to walk through the middle of the apartment and then there were no problems! The free wi-fi was great too- especially as my return flight was delayed!

Columbus, OHNice loft in a great location. We didn't want to leave.
Left on 11/05/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of september. Venice was a little intimidating at first but with a good map and the directions from the owner we were able to find the apartment right away. It is in a really good location. Plenty of bars and shopping in the area. A short walk to the bridge and about a 15 min walk to St. Marks.
We typically don't like to stay in hotels when we travel so we picked this loft for the price and amenities. We were very happy with the decision. The apartment was unique. The bathroom was very modern and the view form the kitchen window was pretty amazing. Having a washing machine was a big plus for us. They even have a clothes line outside to dry your clothes. The aC and wifi worked well and the small kitchen was great for heating up leftovers. The water pressure in the bathroom was a little low. But that was the only minor complaint we had.
All in all we loved our stay in Venice and would come back to this loft.
It is in the attic so there are a lot of stairs and we bumped our heads a few times on the beams but it all added to the charm. -

Palmerston North, New ZealandWe'd rent this apartment again!
Left on 10/02/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We were arriving in Venice early in the morning, we'd arranged with the owner to leave our baggage, as the apartment was still occupied - great service. The key holder has as much English as we have Italian, but with good humour and sign language we managed to communicate. The apartment itself is exactly as advertised. Very clean and airy. The floor area is spacious, but the low beam ceilings cut down on the usable space. Although the bed is at floor level, it is very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped well enough that we could cook our evening meals with no problems. A well stocked mini-market is just around the corner, though it's worth the walk to the fresh food markets at the Rialto bridge. The bathroom is nicely appointed and clean, however the lack of a proper shower was a bit disappointing. Having the washing machine to use was great, and hanging the clothes out the window on the line four stories up was an adventure. Overall we loved our stay in this loft apartment and would recommend it to anyone who can manage the stairs.

Adelaide, AustraliaPerfect romantic start to our honeymoon
Left on 08/03/2012 for a stay in May 2012
This is a lovely apartment and we really enjoyed our 3 night stay. The apartment was very spacious but the ceilings are low (not too bad for short people like us). The apartment is on the top floor (attic) so lots of light came in. It is perfectly positioned in Venice so that it is walking distance to everything that you would want to visit. The only issue we had was that the water pressure for the bathroom is very low (not sure if this is generally the case for Venice). We had baths instead of showers as it was too difficult to have a shower with the low water pressure. Baths were supplemented with boiled water to keep the water hot enough. Stairs would make the apartment inappropriate for people with disabilities. The bed is also at floor level which could pose problems for some visitors. We would stay there again if going back to Venice.

This beautiful apartment is located in the heart of San Polo, easy to find, and pefrect place to stay with your partner.
Just a little walk from the Ponte Rialto and Vaporetto (public transport). It´s definitely the place to be in venezia. Just mind your head if you are tall (like we are) because it is an attico, but you will get used to after one day... There are plenty of shops surrounding and also a couple of supermarkets.
Te apartment is super clean and everything works perfectly.
The best romantic stay in Venezia, at a good price.
The owner is very frendly and helpful, and there is very good music!
Go for it. -

Stayed for two nights. It was a cute place that made us feel like we had our own little Venice apartment. It had a small kitchen bath an bedroom. Even a washer. They were helpfull at check in an check out. The ceilings are very low so might be tough for a tall person. But it was a great location and great deal!

Once you get up the stairs it's all good. The apartment looks just like the photos and is in a great part of Venice. The apartment is quite easy to find and that is a big plus as Venice would have to be the easiest place in the world to get lost in!!! I would probably not recommend it to those 6ft and over tho... i'm 5ft nothing and I had to duck. Great bath, evryhting you need in the apartment and a really good restaurant across the laneway.

Cute apartment in wonderful area
Left on 05/22/2011 for a stay in December 2010
This a charming and cosy attic apartment in a terrific location. It is close to the Rialto Bridge and food market, and there is a supermarket, bakeries and delis within close walking distance. While our welcome left a bit to be desired, and the owner was nowhere to be seen, the apartment was very comfortable, and has had an excellent refurbishment with a contemporary feel. Most of the essentials were there: tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and olive oil (a toaster would have been welcome). There was some useful tourist advice on the bookshelves. It's above the top floor of a 3 level building, so the stairs could be a problem for some, though the views across neighbouring rooftops are good compensation. We are keen to return and definitely recommend it - although the low sloping ceilings could be problematic for particularly tall visitors.
