      Great stay in Venice

Left on 12/13/2012 for a stay in October 2012

Such a convenient location and a wonderful, helpful hostess! We had no problem getting to the apartment and got some wonderful advice on seeing the sights of Venice as well as excellent advice on good eating places. Everything was clean and comfortable. We were even able to enjoy the garden patio.

      What a find!

Left on 12/13/2012 for a stay in October 2012

We were met off the vapareto by the owner, who took the time to get us settled in the apartment and then showed us the local area, best shops, restaurants etc. The acommodation was perfectly located in a non tourist area, allowing us to enjoy a "real Venice" experience, as well as being within walking distance of all the main tourist areas. We cannot wait to return there!

      Fabulous location,loved the garden.

Left on 11/02/2012 for a stay in September 2012

The apartment is in a great location, close enough to all main attraction, but also enough distance to get away from the hustle and the bustle of the day tourists! We loved the street it was on, some lovely lively Venetian restaurants on our doorstep. We loved the garden, we ate breakfast there and ended up most evenings finishing off a busy day with a nice bottle of prosecco!Downside was the second bedroom, quite small,no wardrobe space. However, the bed was comfortable.

      Stay with real Venetians

Left on 10/15/2012 for a stay in September 2012

This is an excellent place to stay if you want to be away from the main tourist areas, yet be close enough to walk to them. It's also good for vaporetto routes, local shops and restaurants. The garden is great for eating and drinking in, and the whole property is well equipped.

      Disappointed

Left on 10/14/2012 for a stay in October 2012

The apartment is in a great location and the main part of it is well equipped with a full kitchen, washing machine, master bedroom and bath, lovely living and dining area, garden sitting area. We were two couples traveling and expected a two bedroom apartment. The second bedroom is on the ground level, apart from the main flat, which is okay. However it has no windows or vents either in the bedroom or bathroom and has a musty smell. The owner told us not to keep the door open as there were neighborhood cats. It meant sleeping in the room with no air or ventilation, apart from a fan. We tried to sleep in it but could not because the musty smell got into our lungs. We had to sleep on the floor of the living room for 2 nights before we found another apartment to rent.
We would recommend this property only for 2 people, sharing one double bed.

Apartment has everything you need. It is small but that is venice.

Great location as near grocers and restaurant and within walk to supermarket, bakers etc. We had our 3 year old with us so even made use of take away pizza place round corner one night as too weary after sight seeing

      Venetian Getaway

Left on 05/12/2011 for a stay in April 2011

Deborah and alberto were so amazing, they really took us in and made us feel at home, even though we were half way around the world. Catching the vapertto to our accommodation took us down the Grand Canal from the train station, and what a way to arrive into Venice! We stayed right near the Giardini stop, which is around the last residential area in Venice. We felt like locals. Deborah told us about all the amazing places to eat, where to catch the Gondolas from, where to go to get the best food at the markets, the way venetians really do breakfast and alberto even took us to his work in a venetian glass shop.

The apartment was even better than we could have imagined. The kitchen was fully stocked and made it so easy to be able to cook at home. The rooms were very spacious and the beds very extremely comfortable. We hope to travel back to Venice next year and hope that the apartment will be available, as we will definitely stay there again!

      Lovely apartment, lovely owner

Left on 11/04/2010 for a stay in October 2010

We were met off the Water Bus by the owner and it seemed nothing was too much for her. She popped by whenever we had any questions and is a very friendly and charming person. She's lived in Venice for a good while and is married to a Venetian. She really knows her way around.
The apartment was charming and tastefully decorated. You wouldn't call it large but then this is Venice. The area was really lovely, we were right on the main street of the neighborhood, with lovely bars ,shops and restaurants. It is very close to the lagoon and a short walk to the main tourist area.

      Perfect in every way

Left on 10/31/2010 for a stay in May 2010

This is a lovely appartment, well kept and in a perfect spot -close to everything and in a wide well lit street that's got life without being too noisy and busy. If you've not been to Venice before the busy bits can be like a traffic jam of tourists!

We were made to feel very welcome and confortable by Deborah who helped make it an all round amazing experience for us.
