Left on 11/03/2012 for a stay in October 2012
I stayed here for 4 nights with my 2 sisters. The apartment was everything we could wish for. The furnishings are excellent and everything is of very high quality. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds (2 doubles and 1 twin).
Pietro met us at Piazzale Roma to take us to the apartment and gave us lots of useful information including tips for restaurants and shops. He is a real asset to the company, very friendly and efficient.
The area around the apartment (Dorsoduro) is an excellent spot with everything nearby. I would highly recommend both this apartment and the Red House Company who were very swift to answer any emails and dealt with any queries promptly. -

I stayed at the waterview with 3 girlfiends, and it provided us excellent space to visit or rest. The two bathrooms and kitchen are beautiful; we cooked in a few times and had everything we needed. Every room had large windows and views. The living room was comfortable but a little on the small side. It was a great place to stay.

Left on 10/04/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Bref l'endroit a répondu à nos attentes. -

Left on 08/12/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Staff at Red House were very helpful and even came out one evening to help sort out the Sky. The apartment was to a very high standard, we certainly needed the air conditioning in august. It is on the fourth floor, but it kept us fit. This is the second time we have stayed in the Dorsorduro area of Venice, it is close enough to all the sights but is more peaceful.

The apartment is a short walk from the main bus station, it is beautifully appointed and very well equiped.
There were plenty of good restaurants in the local vicinity.
We had an amazing time, we purchased a three day water taxi ticket and saw just about everything on offer in Venice
We would certainly use The Red House Company again - we were very impressed with them from the initial enquiry through to the meet and greet at the bus station -

We stayed at the WaterView apartment with our daughter, son-in-law and grandson (aged nearly 3 years old). We were met on time on arrival by Marco, who talked us through the procedures and how to work what . He was very helpful and efficient and our security deposit which is held until departure was returned promptly when we got home.
The apartment, although up seven or eight flights of stairs (and no lift) was great. It would not be suitable for people with walking difficulties. Three good sized bedrooms, two bathrooms and air-conditioning throughout. It was hot and sunny and we needed that coolness when we got back each day. Everything was clean, modern and bright and the beds were comfortable too. The balcony from the lounge overlooked the quiet canal and the area was very quiet day and night .
From the balcony we could see all the large cruise liners going in and out of the Port, which was fascinating for our grandson.
If you are a family and don't mind walking (we took a buggy for our grandson) then this is a brilliant place to be. Near to Piazzale Roma for the waterbus or water taxis (expensive), walking distance to lots of interesting museums and the Zattere. Also near two supermarkets (reasonable prices) and a square with several bars and restaurants which took 5 minutes to walk to in the evenings.
A tip for buggies and kids - they need to be carried over the canal bridges mainly as they are all stepped although the local ladies seem to bump up and down no problem.
Thanks to Marco and Caroline for a good holiday and we recommend you without reservation - great service and friendly too. -

What a fantastic apartment! The only thing I can think of that would improve it is a lift and a bath (there's two shower rooms). We stayed there as a group of 6 adults during the carnival and it was so lovely. Beautiful apartment, good amount of space, great location (two options of vaporetto's within a few minutes walk) beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the canal, comfy beds, clean, homely. Supermarket about a minutes walk with very cheap and good food! The apartment is fully equipped for everything you can need. Microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, free wifi, Sky TV etc The owners are fabulous too. We were met by a lady who couldn't have been more helpful. Despite it being up 4 flights of stairs (which, with the suitcases is some work!) you quite soon get used to it. The stairs aren't high individually, and they are big steps (wide) so easy to walk up and down. I will certainly recommend this to my friends and would definitely book it again.

The bedrooms are spacious and the decoration is modern and refined. The situation in Dorsoduro is fantastic between the big canal and Zatterre next Campo San Margarita which is lively.Near the flat you have a food store. It's handy.Mr of The Red House Company was very sympatic and gave us lot of advice about Venice.

We loved the apartment. It was very well maintained and spacious even for a family of 5. The location, while a bit out of the way, offered the benefit of providing a real sense of everyday life in Venice, including daily trips to the grocery store. The view from the balcony was beautiful.

Park City, UTAmazing stay in Venice!!!
Left on 06/20/2011 for a stay in June 2011
This was a perfect stay for us in Venice. The apartment was great...quiet at night, lots of light, clean, the beds were comfortable, you would go out on the balcony and there was a canal with bridges and a gorgeous view of the Venice skyline.
There are all the things you need close, grocery, pastry and bread shop and a dozen restaurants all within truly a couple minutes walk. Then a five minute walk you are in to the squares and shops and restaurants and night life if you want it. I was there with my family, we had a 2 year old so it was far enough away from it all so he had a great night sleep.
The only reason I give it a 4 star on the comfort is that the showers are small. The bathrooms are nice size and have toilet and bidet, but if you are a large person the showers are going to be very tight for you. There is only a washing machine, which is fine for the summer months, but if it is humid or wet outside and you are only there for a few days a dryer in the unit would be fantastic!
All this being said, this place is fantastic, and the management are great to deal with. Sweet people who give you amazing places to eat at and see.
Enjoy your stay, I hope you do as much as we did,

I stayed here with a colleague during the opening of the Biennale. Although almost all of our time was spent outside of the apartment, it was always the perfect place to retire for rest and some wide open views from the balcony.

We were the first to stay in the apartment. It is perfect for 6 people. Good location in real venecian neighbourhood, to a lovely walking distance to city center. Great cheap supermarket at your door. Perfect for exploring real Venice, not only tourist atractions. Contemporary interior. And the view... oh, what a view!
After the cheating from Dimora Veneciana, Marco was so kind to offer us this property for accomodation in the last minute literary. Great thanks from Bulgaria.
