The other reviewers have said it all - this is a really comfortable, bright apartment with everything you could need, including a secluded little balcony. We would gladly stay here again.
Tip: The apartment is on Giudecca, which is lovely and peaceful, but to reach the rest of Venice you need to take a vaporetto. One journey costs 7 euro ( ! ) or you can buy tourist travel cards:
18 € - 12-hour travelcard
20 € - 24-hour travelcard
25 € - 36-hour travelcard
30 € - 48-hour travelcard
35 € - 72-hour travelcard
50 € - 7 days
Or, if you know you'll be returning, consider getting an Imob.venezia card.
It costs 40 euros initially, but thereafter a vaporetto journey costs only 1.30 euro, as opposed to 7. The card lasts 5 years and can be renewed.
There are other travel options available, but we visit Venice quite often, and find the imob.venezia cards really useful. There are many days when we never get on a vaporetto and a travel card would be wasted. Hope this helps -

This is a delightful,light and airy,modern appartment set in a quiet corner of the Guidecca with views over the lagoon.It is well equipped and comfortable.
We found it an oasis of peace and calm to come back to after a busy day sightseeing in Venice.
There are good local shops and restaurants nearby and all the main sights are within easy reach by water bus.
We would thoroughly recommend this appartment. -

Our stay at the Giudecca apartment of the Blunts was perhaps my best lodging in 40 years of visiting Venice. First the Giudecca takes one away from the tourist centers of the city and into a neighborhood where Venetians still live. The location is in easy reach by water bus from all the famous sites, but is a world away. Excellent local restaurants are plentiful in the neighborhood. I could happily come here for a week or two and walk the byways of Venice's largest island and never venture beyond!
The apartment itself has a fine view of the lagoon, with all the conveniences one could ask for, including a good kitchen for cooking produce from the local markets. It is nicely decorated and one feels at home in the Venice pied a terra of a retired yacht captain (in fact Capt. and Mrs. Blunt make this their Venice home when here rather than at their farm in Tuscany).

This was a real find, a compact well designed and efficiently managed apartment on a backwater in charming Guidecca, just a short vaporetto (water bus) ride from Palanga to the heart of historic Venice. The apartment is comfortable, well appointed and with all the modern conveniences needed for a short or extended stay. It offers something of a quiet retreat in an atmospheric island location counterpoises to bustling Venice, but also has a number of good restaurants as well as a convenient local shop. We were so delighted that we went back for a return visit, the most persuasive of all recommendations.
