Itβs always βFlorida 1961β at the Yacht Club Apartments!
In a good way! Itβs the up-to-date version with Wi-Fi, Flat Screens, and cool tile floors. But no high-rise here! Two single floor buildings enclose a lovely courtyard with a heated pool and a shuffle board court. And it's all kept in fine shape by on-site managers Peter and Pat.
Itβs a mere few steps to the beautiful Venice Beach on the Gulf of Mexico from any of the 29 units. And from #25 you can literally crawl to the beach (though we havenβt actually tried that yet).

The Yacht Club Apartments are located on a quiet peninsula which ends a short and pleasant walk away at the entertaining Venice South Jetty. There is no through traffic here, so the street is quiet and peaceful.
We are literally "on the beach", and unit #25 is near the beach end of things. So, if you love the beach, you'll love #25.
Also nearby is the picturesque Venice Historic District, filled with beautiful shade trees, fine restaurants and shops, and The Venice Little Theatre.

What a fabulous location and clean, well maintained rental unit! Being right on the beach, with the Inter-costal Jetty a pleasant five minute walk along the shoreline, the best. Love the town of Venice too. This villa, though located in such a popular spot, is so quaint and relaxing. We really felt like we had gotten away from the real world. Just stayed a week this time, hopefully longer when we next return.

We stayed at YCa for a week and were so pleased with the whole experience that we have already reserved another date to return to this very sweet slice of paradise. We could see the beach from the lanai and were only a few steps from both the pool and the beach, and a short walk to the jetty, park, marina restaurant & pub. We rented bikes from the marina and rode the flat scenic Venice trails along the waterway and to other beaches. Yca is a small 28 unit, one story, recently rennovated facility so it's clean, very comfortable, pleasantly decorated, and stocked with all you'll need to feel at home. The other guests were primarily repeaters who were very friendly with great referrals for things to do as we chatted over sunset cocktails.

Yc apartments are not 5 star, crowded or sterile. What they are is just what we wanted , clean, reasonably priced, direct beach access with a just right sized pool area and within walking distance of Downtown Venice. Large flat screen tv with cable and wifi made this place perfect for our romantic long weekend. We look forward to staying here as often as possible.

If you like; halls, stairwells, elevators, doormen, parking lots and crowds you won't like staying at the Yaght Club. Here you park right outside your backdoor. When you step out the front door into the courtyard you are just a little walk from the Ocean. I never imagined I'd be lucky enough to find such a wonderful place right on the the beach. We did quite a bit of beach sitting and walking, we watched pelicans soaring over the surf and dolphins and manatees swimming just off the jetty. We enjoyed joining other guests and residents at the beach for a glass of wine as the sun set. We loved the quiet but friendly atmosphere and the clean and comfortable accomidations. Within hours of our arrival we felt like we belonged here. When we return to Venice we will definately stay here again.
