Description from the owner
Recently restored, lovingly decorated with both form and function in mind. We rent two apartments both in the same building, on the first and second floor. Each apartment has a new kitchen with new appliances, it's own bathroom with shower, hard wood floors, windows in every room and can sleep 4-5 people.

The Venetians Venice. Our neighborhood offers something for everyone. A day in the Dorsoduro consist of morning coffee in a local caffe, a short walk to Campo Santa Margherita to the open air markets to purchase fresh fish, local fruit and veggies and possibly a bouquet of flowers. When the sun is shining Venetians love to have lunch at Caffe Rosso in the Campo or on the Zattere along the wide Giudecca Canal. There are so many delicious places to eat around us (I have a list in my apartment), even family's get to enjoy drinks outside while the children run around the square. Closest Vaporetto: SAN BASILIO.

My daughter and I spent a month in this apartment in January. It was so cosy and homely. The location was fantastic away from the busy tourist area and easy to get too by boat. The train and bus stations were a 10 minute walk. The apartment had a functional kitchen with a supermarket around the corner. It was incredibly warm with a washing machine, very clean bathroom and no problems with hot water. The extras included umbrellas, books to read, cards and games for night entertainment. We so moved in and found it very difficult to move out.

Location très agréable qui se situe non loin de la Piazza Roma et dans un coin assez tranquille. Appartement d'apparence neuf et joliment décoré. Il faut juste songer à remplacer les ampoules au lieu de mettre des éclairages d'appoint. Mais c'est un petit détail qui n'influence guère sur la prestation de cette location.
Nous avons rencontré Lisa qui est vraiment adorable et à l'écoute. Elle nous a bien accueillis et bien présenté l'appartement, les environs et tout ce qu'il y avait à savoir sur notre séjour à Venise.
Donc, n'hésitez pas à louer cet appartement. On s'y sent très bien.
La seule chose à revoir serait la communication. La réservation s'est très bien passée mais les mails suivants étaient soit sans réponse soit long à venir. et une fois sur place, j'ai attendu un mail concernant l'heure de sortie qui n'est jamais venu.
Mais, cela aussi est un détail ! Je reviendrai sans doute... -

Accommodating and responsive owner. We booked the reservation but was unable to stay due to personal change of plans. The owner was helpful throughout the entire reservation process. We were going to travel with 4 adults and a toddler. Owner was very prompt in answering our questions, and providing a baby crib as we had requested. We also got good information on the location of the apartment, as well as a few other requests. We felt our booking experience overall very pleasant.

We stayed in Cozy San Basilio for a week and a half. We didn't know until 2 days beforehand that we'd definitely be moving in, and didn't know until the last minute when we'd be moving out; but the owner (who lives in Venice) could not have been more helpful and accommodating, and was extremely flexible about our arrival and departure arrangements.
The apartment itself is beautifully furnished in contemporary style and impeccable taste, while retaining original features such as the exposed beams; it was well equipped and I'd be quite happy to live there all the time!
The location was perfect for us, being in the area we know and love best in Venice but quiet and not right on the beaten track.
Highly recommended.
