    Additional Location Information

The Venetians Venice. Our neighborhood offers something for everyone. A day in the Dorsoduro consist of morning coffee in a local caffe, a short walk to Campo Santa Margherita to the open air markets to purchase fresh fish, local fruit and veggies and possibly a bouquet of flowers. When the sun is shining Venetians love to have lunch at Caffe Rosso in the Campo or on the Zattere along the wide Giudecca Canal. There are so many delicious places to eat around us (I have a list in my apartment), even family's get to enjoy drinks outside while the children run around the square. Closest Vaporetto: SAN BASILIO.

A wonderful month in a magical city!

Left on 02/10/2013 for a stay in November 2012

We had the absolute fortune to find this lovely apartment for our Venetian stay. It was perfect in every way. We were in a quiet residential area, but an easy walk or vaporetto ride from everything. The apartment is well equipped and we felt quite at home in our comfy surroundings. It had a new bathroom, very usable kitchen, plenty of closet space and boots for acqua alta! If we return to Venice, I would stay here again.

      Best location in Venice

Left on 10/27/2012 for a stay in October 2012

We've been traveling to Venice for many years and it was only on this trip
that we learned that this location allows you catch an actual Taxi Cab
with wheels to get to airport.
The apt itself is great. The neighborhood is very nice and close to Vaperetto stop ( San Basilio) ...the Maritime Terminal and an easy walk through the Dorsoduro neighborhood to the Grand Canal.
Lastly, no one could be a better Hostess for a visit to Venice than the
      Owner, Brittany Hymore !!!
      We'll definantely be back.

      Perfect apartment in great location

Left on 08/29/2012 for a stay in August 2012

Stayed here for a short break with two adults and two children (aged 9 and 6). The apartment was in a great location, just two minutes from a vaporetto stop and supermarket (not to mention some nice cafes, restaurants and gelaterias). It was in a very quiet and peaceful street, and you had the occasional added excitement of seeing a huge cruise ship pass by! The apartment was very well equipped - the kitchen had everything we needed for preparing simple meals and there were nice touches such as detergent, olive oil and teabags left for us. Everything was fully explained when we arrived and written instructions left for all equipment. We can thoroughly recommend it and can't wait to go back.

      Venice like a Venetian

Left on 04/20/2012 for a stay in March 2012

Never before had I enjoyed Venice this much (I've been there 3 or 4 times). And the main reason for it, I think, was that we stayed in this apartment. It allowed us to see Venice - "from the inside" - live in a real Venetian neighborhood (Zattere / Dorsoduro). We loved it! was great. The apartment was all we expected and was actually a bit more spacious than we imagined - with plenty storage room and very smartly decorated - brilliant use of not expensive solutions combined with some "stylish" deco objects. The neighborhood caught our heart - there are terraces and restaurants nearby - but you don't feel in a touristy area - in the afternoon they're full of locals (students, families), in the mornings you can see the grandpa's and grandma's strolling by with their grandchildren. Brittany gave us great tips, like taking the gondola- traghetto where and as the venetians really do, or good addresses in less well-known plazas where the locals get together after work. We would visit the big attractions early in the morning and after lunch we would retire to our neighborhood and mingle with the locals. My husband and I traveled in March 2012 - weather was great- and it was an incredible experience for both of us.

      Another perfect stay!

Left on 02/28/2012 for a stay in February 2012

Thank you, Brittany, for our third memorable stay in Venice. The Sunny San Basilio is just perfect, steps away from the action and yet so peaceful. I loved the new decor additions and everything was in its place as usual. Accessibility with a land taxi is so convenient and having one of the very few grocery stores in Venice round the corner a huge plus.
Your hospitality was once again as generous as ever and it was great seeing you again. We also tested some of the new restaurant additions in your guidebook - delicious! Thank you again and see you next year.
