It is situated in a XVII Century Old House in the old district of 'Castello' and just renewed. It is a well kept elegant apartment composed of two double bedroom with king size bed, a large lounge/living room with kitchenette and bathroom with shower. Notre séjour à Venise était très agréable et nous étions heureux de résider dans cet appartement au calme, au bord d'un canal, dans un quartier non bondé et proche des stations des vaporetto pour les îles et pour Venise.

We could not have asked for anything more. This apartment is spacious, clean, modern and located in a wonderful spot. Right on a canal and looking out to sea. Safe and removed from the touristy area but a short walk to the sites. 10 minutes and you will be in St. Mark's Square. A grocery store (supermercato) is located just around the corner as is a main stop for the water taxi. Very easy to get to from the train station. Upon arrival on the island, I called the number I was given in an email and Mimi answered right away. She met us at the water taxi stop. She is wonderful. Showed us everything in the apartment. We paid the balance up front and the place was ours. Would go back to Venice in a heartbeat and I would stay at this apartment again. Thank you Venice. Loved it!!!
May not be be older travelers as there are steps to climb. 4 short flights, I recall. -

A few weeks before out vacation we received all the necessary information by email from Guy (the landlord), so the the logistics part was really hassle free. Upon arriving venice, we were met by a person who showed us the flat and also provided information about where to eat and what to do and so on.
The flat was very nice and clean, and looked brand new. There is a great view to a canal, which is very nice for breakfast in the mornings.
The location was quite good as well, but I don't really think location matters that much as Venice is quite small. However, from the flat we could easily walk to all the various sites and shops.
All in all a very nice stay. I must say that living in a flat provided so much more flexibility than staying at a hotel, and that this flat was perfect for us.

This is a lovely, central, comfortable apartment. It was warm, the beds comfortable, WI=FI reliable and excellent bathroom. The balcony overlooking a canal was very charming. We found dealing with Guy very easy and efficient and Mimi, who met us, was very friendly and helpful. It is very close to all the main sites but still retains a feel of "real Italy" if one can say that. Fantastic local Coop (supermarket) right on the waters edge. If we went back to Venice we would stay here again. Thank you!

Tha apartment is lovely! It's spacy and wonderfully furnished, bright colours. We were happy to admire a lovely canal view from our windows:-) It was just 10 minutes away from San Marco so we had a walk anytime we wanted. We had a great contact with the host before we came and he patiently answered all our questions, so we'd like to thank Guido for his help. Also thank Mimi for giving us a nice walk and talk to the apartment. There is a nice relax area at the entresol in the apartment. It was a great choice and I would recommend it to everyone!

Che dire... splendido!!!
Noi abbiamo affittato questo appartamento per il week- end di capodanno 2012 e siamo rimasti stupiti dalla bellezza dell'appartamento e dalla comodità della posizione: un quarto d'ora a piedi da piazza san marco e 2 minuti dalla fermata del vaporetto.
Appartamento appena ristrutturato, con gusto e semplicità, dal proprietario (persona tra l'altro disponibilissima) completo di ogni optional possa servire per un breve soggiorno. Nei dintorni tutto quello che serve (supermercati, tabacchini, ristoranti e negozi) per rendere il soggiorno in questa città assolutamente indimenticabile.
A venezia sappiamo ormai dove andare a dormire!!!

Having this lovely apartment to come home to after roaming beautiful Venice made all the difference in the world to our vacation.
We were provided with lots of information and help. We were met at the vaporetto stop and show the way to the front door, past the shops and restaurants we might need.
Then we were made at home in the apartment. It is a great location: near everything, but in a quiet area.
And it is next to a canal, so we had the sweet sound of boats passing now and then. How much more Venetian can it get?
Great place at a great price. We will be returning.
