Beautiful flat in Calle del fumo

Beautiful fully equipped venetian flat. It is situated in a very handy area just a few steps from the main vaporetto stops and only a bridge away from the alilaguna arrival. The Miracoli campo is only 2 minutes walk and Rialto is 5 min away. The flat has been recently redecorated in a typical venetian style but providing all facilities. There is a big modern kitchen, a lovely terrace ( difficult to find in venice ), two bedrooms, two bathrooms a sitting room (with a sleeping sofa) and a dining room

The location is perfect for travellers arriving from Marco Polo airport as the alilaguna ( the water bus arriving and departing from and for the airport) stop is just a few metres from the flat. All main waterbus (vaporetto) stops are just very near the flat with no bridges to go across. In fact the flat is 20 metres from Fondamenta nova, 2 minutes walk from the Miracoli campo, 5 minutes from Rialto and 15 minutes from St. Mark square. There are quite a few restaurants in the area, a bakery 20 metres down the calle and a food store round the corner. The waterfront is round the corner

  A very cozy apartment, perfect position to visit Venice! The terrace, a must, difficult to have in that town. Nice decorated, we really felt at home :).

  I have stayed several times and at different times of year, in this lovely top floor (2nd & 3rd floor) split level apartment.
  
  I love this apartment for several reasons, I feel like a local while staying here - it's ideally located between the Fondementa Nuove, so only 2 waterbus stops from Marco Polo airport, then just a 5 minute walk to the apartment. It also is just a short walk to the local bakery, and a well stocked Co-Op supermarket, and a short walk to the centre of things at the Strada Nova and the Grand Canal...and to the wonderful food market of Venice that you get to by taking the Trachetto (Gondola Ferry) across the Grand Canal. It's also ideally located for visiting the Islands of Murano, Burano and the Lido for the beach etc.
  
  The apartment has air-conditioning, central heating and a great terrace (accessed off both the living room and the kitchen) where you look at the rooftops, can eat your meals al fresco or sunbathe. An added bonus is the 2 large electrically operated sun shade canopies - for when it's high summer. The kitchen has great appliances too.
  
  I have to say the current photos do not do the apartment justice, it is stylish, always very clean and has quality fixtures and fittings. There is a bath in one bathroom and a great en suite shower room. I've stayed in this apartment on my own and with 5 other friends and it's accommodated us very comfortably. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment as I feel it is the ideal base from which to explore the magical city of Venice.
