The apartment is located on the 1st floor, is laid out on roughly 100 square meters and is composed as follows: 2 queen size bedrooms, 1 single bedrooms, a nice living area with a dining table and a double pull-out bed, a brand new kitchen with a small balcony with water view, 2 bathrooms (one with shower and one with thub).

The angello raffealle was a beautiful apartment that is nicely furnished. The bedrooms were large and quite comfortable. The only tv stations are in Italian except for CNN but you don't go to Venice to watch tv. Check in staff is great and very welcoming.

This is the second time I have stayed in this apartment. Spacious, clean, well furnished and ideally located between the Rialto & San Marco. Excellent for arrival and departure at San angelo vaporetto stop with only one bridge to negotiate. Plenty of room for guests with two bathrooms to share. Would continue to use this apartment and also Truly Venice.

This apartment was exactly what we had hoped for in that it was convenient, spacious, quiet, clean and well equipped (including excellent air conditioning in all rooms). On arrival, we were met by Luca who gave us information about the facilities and also a very informative run down on good restaurants, bars, gelaterias etc. We tried several of these recommendations and they all proved excellent (Thanks Luca !). There were 5 in out party and the apartment was spacious enough for us not to feel at all cramped during our seven day visit. The apartment was located conveniently in between Rialto and St Mark and provided an excellent base for walking to see sites. It was also extremely convenient (150m) for the S'Angelo vaparetto stop which we used regularly with our 7 day passes.
Venice of course is fantastic !! All in all a great holiday. Many Thanks to Luca, Letitia and Daniela. -

We were met at the dock by a friendly and helpful representative and escorted to the apartment. It was perfect for our family of 3 plus nanny (6 total) with 3 good sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The location was great as there were a number of good restaurants within a 3-5 minute walk. The Vaporetto stop was just around the corner and access to all of Venice was easy and quick.

We just stayed at the angelo Raffaele apartment for 4 nights though and were thrilled with both the apartment and service. The apartment is located on a quiet calle and is only about 5 minutes from San Marco Square, the St. Angelo vaparetto stop and the accademia brige. In addition, the apartment is about 2 minutes from a number of shops and restaurants. The apartment is newly renovated and is located on the first floor. It has 3 large bedrooms with great beds, 2 bathrooms (1 with a shower and 1 with a bath), a large living room and dining room and a full kitchen. Each room (other than the kitchen) has its own air conditioning unit and the apartment includes WiFi and a small tv with satellite stations. Everything in the apartment worked and was very clean. The apartment also has a very small balcony off the kitchen which offers a spectacular view of two canals. The apartment is quiet as it is located on a street with a number of law offices so there was no problem with noise. Overall the apartment was very functional and comfortable.
It is also worth mentioning that we received great service from Truly Venice. Originally, we had reserved a different apartment but Danielle called the day before to let us know that the aC was not working in that apartment and, as result, she was suggesting to move us to angelo Raffaele apartment assuring us that we would like it even more than the one we originally booked. While I would hope any reputable management company would take these efforts, I know this is not always the case and, moreover, the fact that Danielle called in advance so that we were not surprised upon our arrival was greatly appreciated. In addition, the Truly Venice staff was very helpful in booking water taxis and making other arrangements both before and during our stay. In short, I would not hesitate to stay at the angelo Raffaele apartment again nor would I hesitate to book through Truly Venice as out stay in Venice was perfect! -

Beautiful apartment with a great location. Very well appointed but there should be a toaster in the kitchen. Ac worked very well. Also the Internet was a great plus.
The only negative was the washing machine . It took so long to do a load and the clothes were still very heavy with water so they took very long to dry. It was also not so convenient sharing it with the other apartment. We were 7 in number and they were 6 during very hot weather which meant extra laundry. -

We very much appreciated the professional standard of maintenance and comfort of the apartment San Raffaele. Thank Daniela, Leticia and Maria for responding to our requirements so rapidly - a new bulb, another bedside light and kitchen towels. We would certainly stay in a Truly Venice apartment again. I have already recommended this to 3 friends and one has already had another Truly Venice stay - before us in fact!

Pros:
Great apartment. Great location. Well set out and appointed. Staff very helpful prior to arrival. We were met on arrival at the local vaporetto stop and taken to the apartment.
Cons:
Minor point only. There could be a few more wine glasses and cooking utensils in the kitchen.Response from Truly Venice - 07/04/2011

Angelo Rafaello is an elegant apartment. Was very adequate for the needs of 2 teenagers, myself and my husband and my sister. Plenty of room for us all. Very spacious and a bonus of being on the intersection of two canals added to the 'experience'. Quite central and once orientated easy to find your way around. close to vaporetto stop. Easy access to food and wine shops if you wish to self cater, and restaurants are easy to find. Helpful information book on arrival was very useful for tours and information on finding your way around town and what is on offer to the tourist. Noisy renovations to the above apartment were a problem, however and we do understand the need for this type of work to be done in the 'off' season although our arrival was booked well in advance. Heating was an issue as it took several days for the floors to heat up and the apartment was exceptionally cold. If you are travelling in the cooler season this might need to be turned on prior to your arrival. Apparently all heating was turned off due to renovations and travelling in the quiet time the apartments above and below were not in use. Coming from a tropical environment though, made it difficult for us to adjust. All this considered, I would not be detered from rebooking when we return to Venice and we did receive a refund for our inconvenience which we did not ask for but was much appreciated. All staff from Truly Venice were very helpful. An elegant apartment in a wonderful city and I look forward to returning in the future. I would be very happy to stay in angelo Rafaello again.
