A lovely first floor apartment with a large terrace overlooking a beautiful garden. The ideal base from which to explore the most authentic part of Venice, the Cannaregio district, close to the Jewish Ghetto and many beautiful sights of Venice. The apartment is located in a quiet area, it receives plenty of light from its large windows and is very airy.
It is composed of one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, with only one shower but two bathrooms. The living room is very welcoming, there's a comfortable couch, tv, dvd, internet connection, air conditioning as well as a functional and well equipped kitchen.

We booked this quite late for a week in august and were delighted with our decision. The apartment is very well located for shopping, restaurants and the vaporetta. We stayed there with our our teenage boys and found the apartment spacious enough for us all. The air con was very effective for the hot august weather and kept us cool. We cooked and eat out on the terrace several evenings to keep budget the holiday costs, the outdoor area is a real bonus. Venice is beautiful and staying here made it affordable and fun for us all.

The problem with finding accommodation via a website is that you do not know if the photos are current or accurately reflect the accommodation. We were not disappointed with Fresia. It is as beautiful as the photos on the website. We found Truly Venice's representative to be very pleasant and helpful. The apartment was comfortable and conventiently located in the Jewish quarter. That is, we stayed were the locals live and paid local prices for everything. On our walks, the closer we got to the tourist-infested St Marks Square, there was a correlation with an increase in prices. Not that the toursists don't venture into Cannaregio, there is just less of them. So if you are a tourist, but do not like mass tourism, you are two couples and want a fantastic place to stay that works out cheaper than most hotels, then stay at Fresia.
