When we arrived in Venice we followed the helpful instructions we were given and met our contact who showed us the flat and explained in perfect English everything we needed to know. Either way the apartment is very close to the train station and not much further from the bus station into town.
The home was lovely. Very good for the price. Clean and nicely decorated. All the bedrooms were a great size and lovely and comfortable. The only downside was quite a small living room/kitchen and the hob itself was very small but it was big enough for our neeeds.
The location is fantastic - very close to a lovely restaurant for the late arrivals as well as a small shop and a large supermarket just 5 minutes walk away. Venice is very small anyway and you end up walking most places and this was a very good starting point. whether you are going to the Piazza San Marco, or the Casino!
I will say that the Washing machine was a huge advantage as well as the private terrace where we were able to sit out and listen to the night sounds of the City. Because there are no cars all other sounds travel very far in Venice so we were able to track our drunken friends from miles away! -

The location is perfect. Venice is mobbed all year long but on any given day 50% of the tourists are day visitors. Consequently, all are intent on visiting the main attractions and the streets around and leading to these are very crowded. It was a real treat to wander the real Venice starting from our apartment through almost deserted streets. We found our area to be a real haven from the crowds.
The service we received from the agent was excellent. We had been advised to take the water taxi from the airport across the lagoon and I would say that is the only way to go. Fantastic. Expensive perhaps but a visit to Venice is anything but cheap anyway and this is value for money.The agent met us at the canal dock nearest to our apartment so we had only a 200 meter walk.
The advice she gave us on local shops was invaluable particularly a supermarket which we would otherwise never have found. -

We rented Lilia Premium with three bedrooms to accommodate six persons for a week in early November 2011; in addition, our son and his family stayed at the adjoining apartment. The apartments were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. They were very well managed by the staff who lived on the premises. The terrace and garden on the property were wonderful. And the location was just great. We especially liked the clothes washer and Wifi. These apartments helped to make our stay in Venice very memorable. Thanks.
