A classic Venetian apartment in a first-class position on the peaceful island of Giudecca, offering spectacular views over Venice and sharing the waterfront with Palladio’s Church of the Redentore, the luxurious ‘Hotel Cipriani’, the recently opened ‘Bauer Palladio Hotel and Spa’ at ‘Zitelle’ and well-informed Venice connoisseurs enjoying the island’s easy-going lifestyle.

Situated just three minutes by boat across the Giudecca Canal from Dorsoduro’s Zattere promenade and only five to St. Mark’s Square, the apartment is an excellent choice for guests wishing to unwind in an aut...hentic ‘Venetian’ area yet who’d still like to take advantage of the countless sightseeing opportunities that Venice has to offer.

Decorated and furnished with taste and quiet elegance, Ca’ Giudecca is spread over 3 floors. On the bottom floor there’s a comfortable twin bedroom with beamed ceiling while on the floor above (up one small flight of stairs) there’s a well-decorated living area, a spacious dining room with kitchen, an elegant double bedroom with marvellous views and a bathroom with shower.

On the last floor there’s a mezzanine sitting area with beamed ceiling and two sofas, a further room with a double sofa/bed and an additional bathroom with shower.

Soak up the views captured in paintings by John Singer Sargent, Canaletto and Turner to name but a few and watch as the ever-changing light dances on the Giudecca Canal, transforming its waters into myriad greens, blues, purple-greys and silvers – and all from the comfort of you very own ‘home’.

Please note that due to its layout, the apartment is unsuitable for children under 12 years of age.

ALL VIEWS ON VENICE RATES, IRRESPECTIVE OF LENGTH OF STAY, ARE FULLY INCLUSIVE OF ALL UTILITIES* - gas, electricity, bed linen, towels, final cleaning, welcome on arrival and check-in up until 7.30 p.m.** are all included, as are air-conditioning and internet access if available at your chosen apartment. And while the Venice Tourist Tax*** is an extra on bookings made on or after 8th May '13, there are NO HIDDEN CHARGES.

Rentals of over 7 nights also include a weekly bed linen and towel change during your stay.

* Telephone charges, where applicable, are extra.
**Arrivals between 7.30 p.m. and midnight incur a late arrival fee of €50, payable in cash upon arrival.
*** Introduced by the City of Venice Council on stays at hotels, b&b;, campsites, apartment rentals etc., this per night/per person tax is levied on the first 5 consecutive nights of a client’s stay in Venice and is payable to your Views on Venice representative in cash (euros) upon arrival at the apartment.

The Rental Deposit (40% of the rental) will be debited from your credit card when you finalise your booking with us, while the balance will be debited by you through our credit card payment gateway at least 20 days prior to your arrival. Note that if paying by bank transfer, an extra €20 administrative fee will be charged to each transaction (i.e. deposit and final payment). Click here for further details regarding payment.

The Security Deposit (the amount specified alongside the apartment rate) is required against any breakage or damages to the apartment or to its furniture and equipment caused by the client during the rental period. This is payable to Views on Venice upon presentation of your credit card upon arrival at the apartment prior to occupancy.
Credit card details will be automatically recorded and subsequently cancelled by Views on Venice on the day of departure should no breakage or damages to the apartment or its furniture and equipment have occurred during the rental period.

  The place was fantastic. Being on an island across from Venice propoer really made us feel more like residents and not tourists. The views from all the windows was amazing especially at night. Also, it was almost right at the val boat stop so could get anywhere in just a few minutes (it seemed like just a few minutes since we were on the boat and just loved it.) Can"t wait to return and stay longer. The house is right next door to a grocery store so we were able to stock up om food and cook our dinners in which really saved lots of money. So, not only is Venice a great place to visit but staying at this house gave us a taste of what it would be like to really live in Venice. We are giving that serious consideration.
