A serene and romantic oasis for six with Rialto Bridge and boating views and its own bijou terrace directly on the Grand Canal - well-sheltered from the tourist bustle yet moments from Campo Santi Apostoli, the jewel-box Church of Santa Maria Dei Miracoli and the alleged birthplace of legendary Venetian explorer Marco Polo (1254 - 1324).

Gently nudging the fairytale 13th Century Gothic archways of the hidden little 'Campiello Del Remer' courtyard just across the water from the world-renowned Rialto Market area and the broad outside dining terraces of convivial and cosmopolitan restaurant 'Naranzaria' and the well-loved and traditional '...Bancogiro' on the opposite bank, Ca' Giulia offers light, bright and airy accommodation charmingly decorated with a hint of 20's nostalgia and the indelible stamp of style and great taste - irresistible!

There's a spacious and elegant sitting room flooded with natural light from the large, beautiful and intricately screened windows and arched glazed water door overlooking the Rialto Bridge and the ever-changing spectacle of water-borne activity along the canal. Enormously comfortable and featuring ornithological prints set against walls and furnishings of soothing 'sage' and 'sea-spray' greens perfectly in keeping with its memorable waterside setting, the room has polished terrazzo flooring, a painted closely-beamed ceiling, cushioned cane furniture and access, via the water door, to a small, dainty terrace all of your own - perfect for watching the gondolas row by, glass of Prosecco in hand.

There's a fully-furnished kitchen, well-equipped and with a washing machine, three restful and attractive bedrooms with warm wooden flooring - two with king size beds and a third with single bunk beds and two bathrooms - one tiled and with a shower en suite to the master bedroom and the other with a bathtub. The apartment also has ADSL broadband connection for added convenience.

One of our bestsellers - a fantastically roomy and airy apartment, totally romantic and with breathtaking views over the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge, yet hidden away in a 'secret' campiello - the best of both worlds!

Within easy reach of a local 'Coop' supermarket for stocking up on supplies plus Venice's only department store 'Coin' and the many shops of the Strada Nuova and Rialto area.

Also close to a number of well-reviewed restaurants including the upmarket 'Fiaschetteria Toscana' at the head of the calle, 'Osteria La Bottega ai Promessi Sposi' and 'Casa Mia' both on the same little alleyway near Campo Santi Apostoli, the great range of snacks at 'Gislon' (their 'mozzarella in carrozza' is a must!) and the tucked away courtyard of 'ai Rusteghi' near San Bartholomeo, not forgetting the picturesque 'Taverna Del Campiello Remer' just moments from the apartment.

ALL VIEWS ON VENICE RATES, IRRESPECTIVE OF LENGTH OF STAY, ARE FULLY INCLUSIVE OF ALL UTILITIES* - gas, electricity, bed linen, towels, final cleaning, welcome on arrival and check-in up until 7.30 p.m.** are all included, as are air-conditioning and internet access if available at your chosen apartment. And while the Venice Tourist Tax*** is an extra on bookings made on or after 8th May '13, there are NO HIDDEN CHARGES.

Rentals of over 7 nights also include a weekly bed linen and towel change during your stay.

* Telephone charges, where applicable, are extra.
**Arrivals between 7.30 p.m. and midnight incur a late arrival fee of €50, payable in cash upon arrival.
*** Introduced by the City of Venice Council on stays at hotels, b&b;, campsites, apartment rentals etc., this per night/per person tax is levied on the first 5 consecutive nights of a client’s stay in Venice and is payable to your Views on Venice representative in cash (euros) upon arrival at the apartment.

The Rental Deposit (40% of the rental) will be debited from your credit card when you finalise your booking with us, while the balance will be debited by you through our credit card payment gateway at least 20 days prior to your arrival. Note that if paying by bank transfer, an extra €20 administrative fee will be charged to each transaction (i.e. deposit and final payment). Click here for further details regarding payment.

The Security Deposit (the amount specified alongside the apartment rate) is required against any breakage or damages to the apartment or to its furniture and equipment caused by the client during the rental period. This is payable to Views on Venice upon presentation of your credit card upon arrival at the apartment prior to occupancy.
Credit card details will be automatically recorded and subsequently cancelled by Views on Venice on the day of departure should no breakage or damages to the apartment or its furniture and equipment have occurred during the rental period.

  It's a wonderful apartment; it's located at the ground floor of a beautiful old palazzo, facing the Grand Canal. The Rialto Bridge is 150 m away. The apartment is big, well manteined, and its location is the best! After a day walking in Venice, you can relax in the little balcony, seeing the gondolas and drinking a glass of Prosecco. There is a lot of restaurants and bars in a short walk. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

  Excellent location right on the Grand Canal,very clean and the mgr anna was exceptional as well as VOV. Might be too noisy for some as the dock was used for commercial purposes so a lot was going on. We found that was part of the bustle! The restaurant outside the door was wonderful!

  We stayed at Ca'Giulia over Easter in 2010. ViewsonVenice's website was easy to navigate and accurately described the property. We had to request a change in property after having already booked online. This was dealt with professionally and without any hassle. ViewsonVenice has always responded quickly and in a helpful way. The staff we met in Venice was equally friendly and helpful.
  
  The property was beautifully located on the Grand Canal - very close to the Rialto bridge. It was wonderful to get up early, get comfy on the window sill and watch life go by on the canal. The location was ideal for exploring Venice. Everything was clean and well kept. The heating worked well and was easy to adjust. We missed nothing except perhaps a foreign news channel on the TV. The Wifi connection was great to have. Being on the ground floor meant being somewhat closer to outside life than one might wish - but the apartment is well isolated. All in all Ca'Guilia was very special and helped make the vacation a memorable and enjoyable experience.

  Ca' Giulia is a ground floor,clean,comfortable & well-equipped apartment. It perfectly accommodated an all-age family ranging from 11 to 78! Its balcony looking on to the Grand Canal, provided endless fascination. August was very hot:an improved air-conditioning unit would have been appreciated.
