VirginiaWe felt as though we lived in Venice!
Left on 10/07/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Everything everyone else has said about this apartment is true! We loved our week's stay in this spacious and airy apartment! We felt as though we were really living in Venice instead of being tourists. Every morning began with breakfast at the fantastic Tonolo pastry shop downstairs, buzzing with commuters and locals. It was recommended by our lovely apartment agent Rachele. And many evenings we dined at the wonderful Impronto Restaurant a few steps beyond.
Before our trip my husband unexpectedly had shoulder surgery. The staff at VOV helped us find a porter service for our arrival and also for our very early morning departure (if you've been to Venice, you'll know that it's not easy to find porter service on your own, especially at 6am in the middle of the Dorsoduro area). We also got to meet the lovely annalisa to whom we had been writing emails for many months regarding our reservation!
The extra perk we found at this apartment was the sunny little TV room. It had a window looking directly over a wooden bridge. We saw young mothers expertly wrestling baby carriages over the wooden steps. We watched early morning commuters rushing to work. And most of all we enjoyed watching the jovial gondoliere trying to hustle business for his gondola tied under the bridge. It was a great location for a true "view on Venice"! -

From the outset we were about 2 hours early and the representative who was to meet us changed her schedule to accomodate us.
This unit was in a perfect spot out of the main ares of Venice but everything was easy to access.
The unit was spacious and comfortable and we would definitely stay there again without any hesitation.
Plenty of bars, cafe's & restaurants nearby.
First time to Venice will leave us with beautiful memories. -

My most recent visit to Venice was the third time I had rented an apartment through Views On Venice and my second stay at Ca' Meraviglia.
It felt just like coming back to my 'second home'.
I love Ca' Meraviglia - it is in Dorsoduro, just near the crossover into the San Polo sestiere, in a quiet location but close to everything. The San Toma vaporetto stop is nearby, as are restaurants, galleries, interesting churches and excellent shopping areas.
The apartment itself is light and airy, overlooking a small canal, and is fully equipped with everything I needed to make my stay comfortable and a real pleasure.
My experiences with Views On Venice have always been most satisfactory, with friendly and helpful staff and booking arrangements which have always gone like clockwork. I can honestly say I have never had a problem or a moment's worry over my bookings.
I hope to return to Venice again, and when the time comes I will go straight to the Views On Venice website and check availability for Ca' Meraviglia. -

We loved staying in Ca' Meraviglia. Based in this charming apartment, you become part of Venice. The lively Campo Santa Margherita is around the corner, in the morning you can buy fresh vegetables there and in the evening the students meet in the square. The apartment provides all you need to enjoy your stay, and the Views-on-Venice service is very good. We also appreciate how precisely they describe the accommodation.

Ca'Meraviglia provided a wonderful 'home' for us during our weeklong stay in Venice. It is perfectly located, within walking distance of everything, but situated in a district that has a great local feel. The apartment has everything you need; overlooks the canals; has markets and restaurants on the doorstep; and enjoys a great view. Would recommend Ca'Meraviglia anyday!!

PittsburghVenice is best with an apartment rental in Dorsoduro
Left on 06/17/2011 for a stay in May 2011
We stayed for 10 days in a perfect apartment rented through Views on Venice. And views we did have. The apartment has about eight windows, four of which overlook a small canal and a bridge. Very lovely. The apt. even comes with air conditioning, which we only had to use for one particularly hot evening. The neighborhood, is close to just about everything--maybe a 15 min. walk to the accademia, just around the corner is the Frari Church, and the amazing Tintorettos, and the Rialto market is also about a 15 min walk. Although it will take longer as you browse all the fine shops along the way. The vaporetto stop is only a few minutes away, and gives you full access to all the city via boat. Plus, our personal rep. from Views on Venice made it clear we could call her at any point if we needed anything. My best recommendation, though, is that we would go back to the same place in a heartbeat.

My husband and I stayed here from april 30th to May 7. Valentina met us at San Toma Vaporetto stop. She is a wonderful, friendly person. We enjoyed meeting her. The apartment was exactly like the pictures. I loved all the windows. It was clean and bright. Great spot too. We visited Blue's Cafe a few times. Ate at Di Silvio right around the corner and visted Campo Santa Margheritta every night. The people at Views on Venice were very prompt in all their email replies. I would definitely book with them again. If you are a couple, you will not be disappointed in this apartment. Ciao.

The facility and the location were terrific. All of the windows, with views in every direction, were great. Comfortable furniture. Only thing we couldn't figure out was how to dry clothes after using the washer (which we didn't need to do... but might have on a longer stay).

I'm really delighted that your experience at Ca' Meraviglia was such a positive one - thank you so much for taking the time to write in. Regarding the drying of washed clothes etc., I am now pleased to advise that we have now bought a washing line for the apartment! I am sorry if this put you off doing any laundry during your stay but I will ask the team to point it out to future guests when showing them around the apartment upon arrival (many thanks for bringing this to our attention). Hoping to see you here in Venice again soon

Adelaide, South AustraliaIt was my best-ever stay in Venice
Left on 07/12/2010 for a stay in June 2010
I have been to Venice about eight times, but this trip was without doubt the best, because of the lovely apartment Ca' Meraviglia, rented through Views On Venice, and the assistance I was given by their staff.
From the moment I booked, the Views On Venice staff were friendly and helpful, sending little updates via email on happenings in Venice and then giving detailed instructions about my contact there, who met me, took me to the apartment and showed me around.
Ca, Meraviglia was lovely - sparkly clean and it had everything I could possibly have needed, it was light and airy, lots of windows which opened, canal views and a great location very close to Campo San Margherita and near galleries, museums and lots of restaurants and bars. I was also provided with a list of emergency phone numbers (just in case) - doctors, police etc - luckily didn't have to use any of them but it was nice knowing they were there - and details of local restaurants.
Everyone I was in contact with was friendly and helpful.
I have already sent photos of my lovely apartment to friends and recommended Views On Venice to them. I have also started saving for my next visit and will certainly book through Views On Venice.
It was a very happy experience for me and I wouldn't book with anyone else after this lovely visit.

Our trip to Venice for our 40th anniversary could not have been more wonderful, thanks in part to your always responsive staff and your greeter Irina who met us at the vaporetto.
The apartment was a breath of fresh air (after staying near St. Mark's Piazza for two nights). We enjoyed the quietness, the cleanliness and location of Ca Meraviglia. We couldn't have picked a better location to soak up all the wonderful ambiance that is Venice!

Sewanee, Tennessee, USALovely flat with lots of light and view
Left on 07/03/2009 for a stay in April 2009
A Views on Venice representative met us at the bus stop in Piazzale Roma
and we all walked to Ca'Meraviglia (about 10-15 mins) -- he kindly took
one of our suitcases and a shoulder bag. (Views on Venice have always
been responsive, pleasant and a joy to work with -- this is our 3rd rental
with them and we plan to use them again.)
The flat was conveniently located near the lively Campo St. Margherita
where there is a supermarket (Punto), bakeries, cafes, shops and
restaurants.
The flat was perfect for the two of us with a sitting room/dining room,
another small sitting room with TV and big windows, a bedroom with huge
built-in wardrobe, nice-size bathroom, and small but functional kitchen.
Ca'Meraviglia occupies the top floor at one end of a building so there are
windows opening on three sides and the end of the building overlooks a
canal so there are very nice views from the apartment.
It's beautifully furnished and well equipped -- we LOVED this flat!
There is a bridge and busy calle below the apartment but later in the
evening and overnight it was quiet and we slept well. It's a super location,
convenient for Dorsoduro, not far from the vaporetti on the Grand Canal,
and near the Scuola di San Rocco.
A note of caution: the apartment is up two flights of stairs and at the top
step there's no landing on which to stand to open the steel and opaque-
glass door. It didn't bother us and we soon got used to it but I'm not sure it
would be suitable for someone elderly, or someone with little children.
We had a 6:30 a.m. flight home from Marco Polo airport and were not sure
how to make that work (hotel near the airport? water taxi at 4 a.m.?). In the
end we stayed the last night in the apt., a V-on-V rep. came the night
before to pick up one set of keys and conclude paperwork, and then we left
the apartment at 4:45 a.m. and walked to P. le Roma to catch the first
airport bus -- it was quiet on the calli but not intimidating, and we got to
the airport by 5:25. -

Left on 06/30/2009 for a stay in May 2009
We were very pleased overall with Ca' Meraviglia and the Views on Venice
experience. The space was ample even given Venice's limited area. The
accommodations sat comfortably in the middle between humble and
pretentious. The location suited us just fine as we wanted to be close to
Campo Santa Marguerita. Nice having the side canal and picturesque wooden
walking bridge just below and outside our window, though the sound of
footsteps across the planks added unwelcome percussion. I won't harp on the
odor of the plumbing work being done on the vicolo just beneath us. Couldn't
be helped. All in all a positive aspect of our Venice adventure. Thank you.
