Canberra, AustraliaWagner was the perfect place from which to base a visit to Venic
Left on 07/22/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Wagner turned out to be two minutes' walk from the Sant'Angelo vaporetto stop on the grand canal. Though it required an ascent of four flights of stairs, this was well worth it. The apartment was spacious, well-appointed and, importantly, air conditioned. It was within easy walking distance of St. Mark's, the Rialto and the accademia and the convenience of the vaporetto stop made everywhere else in Venice easily accessible. The apartment was quiet with pleasant rooftop views and there was easy access to a grocery shop. The agents were excellent and were always on hand to deal with any problems.

Hampshire UKConveniently situated, light and airy but not too well equipped

We always receive good service from Truly Venice. This flat was very conveniently situated ; minutes from a vaporetta stop(allilaguna) and thus near the Grand Canal and within walking distance from most of the special places to see in Venice. The accommodation was spacious and airy and beautiful views. This was because it was on the fourth floor and we found the steps a real drawback. Another problem we encountered was that it was rather inadequately equipped.Although it was for six people - and we were six - we didn't have enough chairs in either the kitchen or the dining room and the cooking and dining utensils were a bit hit and miss. We also lacked cupboard, drawer and wardrobe space.

Granada, EspaƱaGreat location, full of ligth and comfortable
Left on 04/08/2012 for a stay in April 2012
We have been six people, coming from Spain, for 5 days in this apartment. It is very well situated, 30 meters from S.Angelo waterbus stop line 1. Every thing is close, even a small store for getting enough provisions to have breakfast or any other meal.
It was a surprise to 'discover' that the apart is in a fith floor without lift! We missed some little things for making a bit more comfortable a five days stay, such as mugs and cups enough for all guests, tallboys or shelves, more hangers, and mirrors in all bedrooms.
We were very well served via email by Daniela, who answered all our inquiries with great kindness.
We absolutely recommend this flat and this company -

LondonGreat location for exploring Venice, fantastic apartment
Left on 01/27/2012 for a stay in July 2011
The apartment is located in a lovely part of Venice which is perfect to explore the City. Given there were five of us it was a perfect size and has really lovely views out onto a canal. The only downside to the apartment is that you have to walk up the stairs as there are no lifts, but for us we were happy with that.
The service we received was excellent, and I can honestly say our stay in Venice would not have been the same without having the experience of staying in this apartment. I would definitely recommend the apartment and also Truly Venice to friends or anyone else! -

St. Louis, MO USAWonderful week at The Wagner
Left on 01/21/2012 for a stay in October 2011
We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children who stayed at The Wagner in October. We really enjoyed the light, modern, very spacious, pleasant apartment and the location was great for getting all around Venice. It was easy having children there. The apartment was warm, quiet, and provided all the items we needed for a week's stay. We also like the simplicity of the decorating. The photos are a good representation. The kitchen is a bit small especially considering the size of the apartment but it was adequate for our needs.
We would recommend The Wagner to a friend if you can secure instructions in English on how to use the dishwasher and washing machine. (The person who checked us in did not seem to know about the washing machine.)
Our only real issue was with the dishwasher. We prefer to use a dishwasher in rental apartments for sanitary reasons and to try to enjoy our vacation. With four people staying for 8 nights and eating most of our meals in the apartment, we needed a dishwasher but could never get it going right. It was a bit of a hassle and an inconvenience. We called Truly Venice and got some direction but we still did not get it going.
For americans: The clothes washing machine was a very small European one that combines wash and dry and takes a long time. Space out your showers so you have adequate hot water. Bring your dish washing and clothes washing soap from home--its just easier.
