Our Venice Island home will most comfortably accommodate a family of 6- or up to 10 in a pinch, but it's also perfect for 2-3 couples traveling together, or as a romantic & extra spacious getaway for two. Most of our guests are "repeats." Great location! For a little sunset watching and live music, the home is walkable to "lots to do" including the very popular Sharky's ocean-front Tiki bar & restaurant and Venice Pier for the best fishing. We are close to the island's public golf course & tennis courts - and short drive to 5 challenging public and semi-private golf courses. Short 2 block walk to the beach and close to the historic downtown district filled with Northern Italian architecture, charming boutiques, antique stores, and first-rate restaurants & Venice Theatre.

Get in shape or stay in shape with free yoga classes on the beach! After beach or fitness time, relax at home with the resort-likebrand new pool, new large HDTV; growing book collection; and favorite family board games: Trivia Pursuit, Monopoly, Scrabble, Candyland, etc. Free high-speed, wireless internet access for guests who bring their laptop (or short walk to library for computer use). Please note: small island airport near-by - never had any noise issues with it because small air crafts only including medical flights, daylight hours only (it has a fantastic diner with the best omelets & Cuban sandwiches in town!). This is an extremely quiet family-friendly residential area - you will sleep well!

Also on our street - the new Community Center, Art Center & Library. Longer walk to Island's public golf course, public tennis & shuffleboard courts, grocery store, town center with many shops, restaurants, Venice Theater, & popular Children's Fountain. Free yoga on beach. Nice quiet beach community. Town center lined with majestic palm trees and filled with Northern Italian architecture. We simply love the Island of Venice area for it's unique charm:).

Travel insurance option. Most of our guests are repeats we are happy to say! Saturday is our arrival & Saturday is our departure day due to cleaning schedule. 1 week minimum reservation. Closest airport is Sarasota airport, then Fort Myers, then Tampa International - guests fly into all of these.
