The house was a comfortable stay. The pool was quite enjoyable. I believe dish soap, paper towels and other ammenities of that nature so be provided for the entire stay, rather than to start the vacation. All in all, the stay was quite satisfactory.

Property was in great location and very spaceous, but the largest room which was described as seperate suite and slept 5 of our party, was a converted garage and had highly inadequite cooling. Temp was hot, hot, hot and the fans just moved around warm stagnant air. The floors needed to be cleaned better as feet got dirty when barefoor inside-yuk! Pool was nice though many screens need to be replace as our pet could escape - luckily yard was fenced. Main llving room furniture was worn and stained. The door shelf in fridge was broken, so had to keep some things in a cooler with ice- for an added inconvience. Nice place but for July's high season price with all addtional taxes and fees should have been better!

The property could have definitely been a little cleaner. There were also a few broken items when we arrived, TV, mixer, deck chair. The TV was replaced on Monday when Mr. Connelly returned to work. I had called on Saturday regarding the TV and spoke with the weekend coverage person about the TV but he was no help. Mr Connelly also quickly got us a new mixer. The property overall was nice and met our expectations. However, I would suggest having more recycling bins, lids for all the pans and a few more storage bowls.

Our family really enjoyed our visit. The location is great. Close to the beach, and you can walk to shops and restaurants. The property was clean and laid out well for a group or large family. The Venice area is beautiful! We will definitely be back. The drains around the pool were not working well when we were there. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The location is great, the house is large enough for a big group and well - furnished... lots of towels (the only thing was there was only 1 roll of toilet paper and paper towels which left us running out the second day to restock those necessities - especially for a large group) but otherwise, we enjoyed the home, the location, and had a great time!

The home was everything we had hoped for - great open space for family interaction and bedrooms for privacy when desired. The pool was in constant use and there were loads of towels and extra blankets.

We were very happy with the size of the home and the amenities. There does need to be a spring cleaning of sorts - e.g. clean area rugs, scrub floors, scrub pool, etc. Also a couple of screens were ripped a bit. These were all minor things that weren't worth reporting but if they were thoroughly done I would have given five stars for everything. The beach is about 6 blocks away but a nice walk in the spring weather. Also, the town was just a few blocks away and we really enjoyed window shopping there. We would definitely go again. Thank you!

This location is wonderful for walking/biking to downtown Venice. the supermarket, library & Venice Beach. The pool was perfect. The pool furniture needs attention. I do feel that some of the furniture is uncomfortable (especially in the sunroom) & the dining table really only seats 6 people. What if you did have 14 people for dinner?? While we were there the aC stopped working, the bathtub drain was plugged & the dryer broke. All these problems were quickly addressed by Kevin!! He is the best!! A wonderful vacation!

a very relaxing place to stay,this is an older home, but very well thought out and comfortable. The pool area and out side furniture was very dirty but it only took me about an hour to clean the furniture so we could use it. we will stay at this house again. Thank you

We stayed in this house in January with our two dogs and both sets of our parents (four senior citizens). The home was spacious, open, airy, bright, and very accessible for everyone - one of the bathrooms even had grab bars and a bench in the walkin shower, which was perfect for my mother who has problems with her legs and her balance. The furniture was very comfortable and perfect for relaxing after an afternoon at the beach or walking around the shopping district, just three blocks away (the beach was six blocks away, lots of places to drive and park for easy beach access). There were some maintenance / upkeep issues that keep me from scoring all five stars (ie torn screens, a stain on one rug, and broken blinds), but these weren't big deals so we didn't bother calling the propery manager to report them. For people traveling with dogs, this house has a fully fenced in back yard that is accessible through several doors, makes it very easy to let your dogs in and out, and there are so many large windows that you can essily keep an eye on your pets while they run around the yard. The house even provides a baby/security fence that can go around the pool if you want to keep the large glass lanai doors open and don't want to worry about your dogs potentially falling in thr pool. Overall, very nice home that met our vacation needs (if it were beach front, it would have been absolutely perfect, but we knew it wasn't located on the beach when we booked it). We would stay here again.

This was our third time renting from Vacation Rental Pros and the best yet. The fully fenced back yard was a safe place for our dogs to enjoy, the pool was clean and well maintained. A little attention to the gardens would help to make the property more enjoyable. The house itself was well stocked with linens, kitchen tools, TVs and board games. Overall very comfortable, except for the couch in the family room. We had one problem with a backed-up drain in the kitchen, but the property manager, Keven Connelly arranged for a plumber and the matter was resolved to our complete satisfaction. Highly recommend Vacation Rental Pros to all my friends and family. See you again next year.

Based on the fact that a number of people obviously stay at this property, Extra cleaning of comforters and furniture would be advised. The pool was clean but a little cool to use. And on the positive side, we had problems with the shower drain in one of the bathrooms and they came to fix it immediately. That was a very nice suprise.

Very impressed with the rental. Everything far exceeded my expectations. Beach is a short 10 min walk downtown is less than 5 min walk. Perfect house for several families. Would defiantly return in the furture and use this company for other vacations.

The location of this home is perfect. It's a large home with a nice little pool and best of all, pet friendly! The actual accommodations are pretty average and the decor could use some updating, but all in all, this is a great comfy home for a group of friends or a family gathering, close to everything, and provided a safe haven for us while we were in Venice. Special shout out to the screened lanai that protected us from the swarming Love Bugs this weekend!

Location convenient. Pool nice and warm--well done. Washing all linens prior to departure was a bit inconvenient. Have never had to wash linens in other vacation homes we have rented. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

The home was an easy walk to Venice stores and restaurants and a five minute car ride to two beautiful beaches (with 3 children). Two added ramps made the home wheelchair accessible for great-grandmother. Lots of space for four adults and three young children. Inside pool provided a fun activity for everyone. Kitchen adequate for cooking lots of meals with small helpers. Property manager and staff very helpful and responsive - renting crib/highchair, building ramps, etc. Nice people to rent from...

We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely come back. Only two small drawbacks - we could here rodents running up in the ceiling at night and a couple of the screen sections in the lanai were ripped out around the perimeter allowing leaves to blow into the pool. Other than that, the house was terrific, the pool was great and we had an excellent time.

The house was close to town which made it easy to walk to with our 4 children. Lots of space in the house. Large bedrooms. A bit dark and dated inside, but otherwise was just what we were looking for since we were trying to find a house close to my parents house in Venice. We would have enjoyed a house on the beach, but could not find anything in Venice. So this was the next best thing. The kids loved walking into town to play in the fountain and get ice cream. The beach was just a short drive away.

From swimming in the pool to the kids and dogs chasing the anoles, we had a wonderful time. My father did come down with shingles, however even the medical facilities were only a couple blocks away. We took daily walks down to the shops and even listened to a weekend concert in the park. Thank you sooo much!!!

We Love Venice. Venise Harbor Paradise is in a great location. Propert Manager Dennis and his wife Judy are great. The hanging blinds need to be replaced. Dennis did have the refrigerator and BBQ replaced while we stayed at the house. It would be nice to have a TV in the bedroom with the single King-size bed, but not a major issue. We are renting the same home for a week longer during 2009.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this house. It was very comfortable and I especially loved the pool. We were close to several nice beaches, as well as stores for shopping. It was a quite and very picturesque area. The only real problem we encountered was the large amounts of seaweed that was washed up on the beaches because of the storms that rolled through just before we made our trip. We still managed to enjoy our time in the warm and calm Gulf waters. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the house to friends looking for a relaxing vacation in Florida.
