The Marco Polo apartment is located at the second floor of an historical building found few steps to the beautiful Campo Santa Maria Formosa, in the Castello district, only 5 minutes walk to Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, thus absolutely central.
This is one of our favorite areas of Venice historical center, close to the main tourist attractions but still quiet and well serviced by small shops and restaurants as well as supermarkets. Nous avions effectués notre reservation uniquement sur le net avec les photos et le desciptif de l'appartement, sans avoir, ni vu, ni eu d'interlocuteur. Nous avions une petite apprehension en arrivant à Venise, mais nous avons été très bien accueillis par une representante de l'agence et lorsque nous sommes arrivés sur les lieux, nous n'avons pas été décus, l'appartement était tout à fait conforme à la description et aux photos et correspondait à nos attentes : sur un petit canal où passaient les gondoles, déco très vénitienne... Très romantique, pas loin de San Marco, ni du Rialto, mais lègèrement retiré, juste pour être au calme en rentrant de nos promenades. Excellent séjour.

Apartment was in a great location and was fitted out nicely. Aircon needed to be on all the time to stay comfortable (we were there in July). Imagine that on a really hot day you would need to pump both aircons to get a good temp throughout the whole apt. Only concern was that we didn't know how much electricity usage would tip us over our 'allocated daily budget' which meant i was more stingy using the aircon than i would of liked to have been.

The apartment was great. Spacious and just per the description on line. Great views from the balcony. If you are a fmaily of 4 this place would be perfect for you.

Our stay at Marco Polo couldn't have been better. The apartment is very spacious, well laid out, has a view of two canals and is within walking distance of everything. Perhaps best of all was the fact that when I expressed my many allergy concerns to the rental agent she allayed my fears that there might be mold or other allergens in the apartment. Indeed, the apartment was absolutely pristine and fresh . The nearby grocery and specialty food shops and a perfectly outfitted kitchen made it great fun to eat at home once in a while, too.
I recommend The Marco Polo to anyone.

very good service. Apartment in excellent location, easy walking distance to all major sights. Tastefully decorated and furnished. Full of sunlight during the day, romantic view on the canal.We had a pleasant family stay, one small complaint, we got only one key, beeing 5 a second one would have been wellcome.

New and well appointed and quiet appartement, with really nice view, You can see and ear the "gondoliers" .
5 minutes to San Marco and Rialto, with all the facilities near the rental: supermarket, bread, fruits...
The best way to visit Venezia.
