The accommodations are very nice. We had 5 adults and a toddler and the house worked very well. It is comfortable and nicely stocked. There was plenty of equipment and toys to accommodate our changing needs. The owner was very responsive and we were able to rent the golf cart when our daughter's injured foot wasn't up to the short walk to the beach Thanks for a great vacation.

This year marks our fourth extended stay here. I believe that speaks for itself. The house itself is large, airy and sunny, with four bedrooms and three baths. We are just two seniors and a schnauzer but we enjoy the space, and the ability to accommodate our children and grandchildren when they visit. The kitchen is large and well arranged, with a generous eating area, and features a large two-door refrigerator-freezer with through-the-door water, ice cubes and crushed ice. The living room/dining room is very spacious with a cathedral ceiling, and is nicely furnished. The Comcast high-speed wi-fi internet works nicely. There are cable TVs in the living room and two bedrooms. I would like to see an Hdtv with HD service in the living room. Perhaps we'll find that next year. The pool is immaculately maintained with service every Wednesday. The electric heater easily keeps it at the 80° temperature I prefer. The yard is fenced, which makes it very nice for our dog to be safely outside. Any problems that occur are quickly resolved by an excellent handyman. The location is ideal: 2 blocks to a deeded gulf beach, 5 blocks to the dog beach, one mile to the big Publix store in a shopping center which also includes an excellent liquor/wine/cheese store, a very good Chinese restaurant, and a Beall's Outlet. A new Walgreen's is one block further north, and Sami's, a gourmet store is just across the street. A very good barbeque restaurant is just a mile away. We are making our reservations for 2013.

We really enjoyed our stay in this house over Thanksgiving - plenty of space for the toddler, teen, and older folks to spread out, cook, eat, and generally enjoy ourselves. We were able to seat 16 for Thanksgiving dinner! We were disappointed that it had already been rented for next year when we asked.
We had two other disappointments. 1) The house clearly had been cleaned since last used, but not right before - there were several dead bugs on the floor. That's not surprising in Florida, but it would have been nice to have it swept out again before we got there.
2) We have had trouble getting our security deposit back, and the owners have accused us of taking "five little blankets." We aren't sure whether these two things are related because they are not answering our phone calls any longer. I would rather they had charged us $100 more and no security deposit if they really wanted the extra money.
I am saying I would recommend it to a friend, but with the caveat: it really costs $100 more than they say.
