Look no further for an absolutely stunning private heated pool overlooking a peaceful lake. Perched above a serene lake, the blues of the turquoise pool blend to a happy mix with the deeper color of the waterway and the perfect clear sky above. The screened lanai turns the pool area an idyllic outdoor room. Steps lead delicate types slowly into the pool and also make a great perch on which to sit and read a book or watch the birds pass by. <br/>Indoors, tiled floors are a must for beachside living and the home features brand new furniture throughout. Sleeping six, this house provides space enough for both time together and quiet time al...one. New flat-screen LCD TVs and high-speed wireless Internet are included. Choose to watch a movie or learn all about the manatees you might spot in the intra-coastal. <br/>The family's casual cottage ambiance shows off form and function in white bamboo furniture, with plenty of comfy seating options. Relax in the sunny family room, finding a convenient glass-topped table wherever you reach out to place a drink. A long blue couch will be popular even with tall guests. White furniture and accents sit below a powerful ceiling fan. Air conditioning is available when it gets hot. <br/>A more formal living room also has brand new furniture - deep olive green couches invite you to take a nap or put your feet up. Decorative silk accent cushions and a soft area rug underfoot make it an elegant space in which to entertain, play cards or have coffee. <br/>The big family kitchen is finished in white with decorative tiles to add interest. Arrive with only a promise that, on this vacation, you'll live to eat - all kitchen utensils and cookware are provided. A wide fridge/freezer and new oven/stove top are ready for your designated chef to make magic with local fresh seafood. <br/>Eager beavers can sit greedily at the breakfast bar, perhaps sipping a fresh cup of coffee or being put to good use preparing a fruit salad made with local fruit. The kitchen opens to a sunny dining area where four can plan a day's adventure around a circular glass-topped table. <br/>Your delightful master bedroom is sunny and neutral. While it has lots of furniture for great storage and organization, the room is large and feels very spacious. Unpack in the large closet and two dressers, before climbing on to the large bed and watching some TV. Your en suite bathroom boasts high-end finishings and provides the vacation decadence you deserve. The second large bedroom has a 2 twin beds (sleeps 2) and also new furniture. Our living room also has 1 queen sleeper couch with new Sealy Matress (sleeps 2). Plus, all bedrooms have good sized closets and both bathrooms are full size and have showers. <br/>Nearby, why not visit the famous Warm Mineral Springs? Opened in 1946, the lake's potent water is said to cure ailments including stress, arthritis and sore muscles - a bit like a bath in Epsom salts with much better views. You're welcome to partake and swim in this hourglass-shaped lake where water is consistently 87°F. <br/>Please inquire with us for other activity recommendations, including golf courses. The home is pet friendly and is ideally situated close to famous Brohard Paw Park, just a short drive away. Beach gear and bikes are provided. Our Cambridge Venice Florida house is only a short drive to the Venice beaches and is a few minutes to downtown Venice.   We enjoyed our time in Venice very much ! We will return again for sure . The pool was very refreshing and the weather was grand. Having wifi was a huge added advantage. We had hoped to take the bikes on the nearby trail but the bike tires were flat and we couldnt find a bike pump. Property was clean,neighbors friendly and wildlife was fascinating. Enjoyed the quiet residential area as well. We are already planning another vacation in Venice.

  This was the 1st time we were able to take an extended vacation. Our experience was great. the home was in good condition and very clean. We loved the Venice area so well we bought our own condo so we can come back year after year. Our rental experience was easy and it fully supplied everyting we expected.

  We enjoyed the location, pool and ambiance of this house and in fact have booked there again for Nov. 2012.We felt very comfortable in the house. The furniture in the family room and lanai was a little tired. The bar-b-que ,while functional, had some heat distribution issues. The neighbourhood was very safe and the people were friendly.

  This property was very neat and clean. We appreciated having 3 t.v.s, beach equipment, bikes and the heated pool. A very nice, safe neighborhood to walk in plus very convenient for events/shopping in Venice. The only recommendation would be to have a clock or two in the bedrooms. Enjoyable 3 wks.
