This 5th-floor apartment (86 m²) is bathed with light from its many windows. The modern interior design, parquet flooring, and taupe, beige and stainless steel accents give the apartment a distinctly contemporary look. The altana (typical Venetian wooden terrace) offers an unobstructed view of the Venice skyline and its bell towers. A split level staircase, followed by a hallway (7.2 m²) with a mirrored wall, leads to the living room. The main room is divided into two separate areas with windows on either side: - The living area (29.2 m² - northwest facing) consists of a sofa-bed, a sofa, a coffee table, two brightly coloure...d beanbag chairs, and a stereo with a CD player. - The kitchen area (8.8 m² - southeast facing) offers a view of the skyline, has a glass top table and some chairs and is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences (two stove top burners and an electric oven). The bedroom (9.3 m²) has a sliding door for privacy, a double bed, and a wardrobe. The en-suite bathroom (2 m²) is fitted with a shower and a sink. The second bathroom (2.4 m²) has a shower, a sink, and a toilet. There are two mezzanines (13 m² + 16.1 m² - maximum ceiling height of 2.07 m and a minimum height of 0.63 m) linked by a footbridge. The apartment is in the Cannaregio district on a street that is lined with shops and bustling with locals and tourists. It is a stone's throw from the Grand Canal and the Strada Nova. On the opposite side of the canal lies the Rialto district with its very colourful and lively market. In the evening, locals come to enjoy an aperitif in the bars at the foot of the Ponte di Rialto. Though the apartment may be situated in one of Venice’s busiest neighbourhoods, it is actually on a small street off the beaten path.
