This quaint and cosy second-floor, two-room apartment (38 m²) features Venetian flooring. There is no elevator access. The living room (11 m² - southwest facing) has two windows that overlook Corte Fontana and contains a single sofa-bed, a television, a table, and some chairs. The American-style kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences (gas stove with two burners, microwave, and refrigerator) and all the cooking and eating utensils you’ll need. The bedroom (12.5 m² - southwest facing) features two windows that overlook Corte Fontana and is furnished with two single beds that are pushed together, two b...edside tables, a wardrobe, a sofa, and a small dresser. The bathroom (8 m² - southwest facing) overlooks Corte Fontana and is fitted with a bathtub, a shower, a sink, a bidet, and a toilet. Additional Location Information

The apartment is centrally situated between the working-class quarter of Castello and the very touristic San Marco. Lined with bars, grocery stores, and a supermarket, Salizzada San Lio is bustling with Venetians and tourists on their way to the Piazza San Marco. The square and Ponte di Rialto are only a 5–10 minute walk away. The apartment itself is situated on a quiet square, away from tourist areas.

  The apartment is in a convenient location, quite spacious and had everything needed. Being in Venice in an old building, I guess it's normal that the rooms felt alittle dark even though the windows were big. The aircon failed to work ten min after we turned it, the contact person's response was good when I called. Overall an apartment worth returning to. The biggest problem we had was we were sent a French email instruction to tell us how to get to the apartment and we do not read french, by the time an English version was sent to us after our request, we had already checked in. We took more than one hour on foot trying to find the apt after we got off the water bus while carrying our luggages around, since it was getting dark and venice is like a maze, there was no way we could have found the apartment until we called the contact person to pick us up.
