The apartment is located on the second floor with no elevator and it's for 2 or 3 people. It's sunny and it has been recently restored. It's very well furnished and equipped. Very nice windows overlook the canal.

the apartment is situated at the beginning of Via Garibaldi, only 5 minuteswalking from Giardini where is the Biennale art exibition and near Lido di Venezia with it's elegant beaches and the Venice film festival. Via Garibaldi is a quiet and characteristic street situated at 10 minutes walking from S.Mark's square and it's one of the last place in Venice where is possibile to breath an original venetian atmosphere.There you can find any kind of shop, bar, restaurant, ecc. Public transport are very good to reach the railway station or Piazzale Roma (car park) or the airport.

We stayed here for a week in October and struck it lucky both with the weather and the accommodation. We were met at arsenale by the owner who showed us to the apartment. It was very well equiped with everything you could need when away from home and nicely presented and decorated.(NB bathroom/wetroom is on the small side). We were away from the crowds in an area with all of the local amenities and colour but only 10 minutes walk along Riva degli Schiavoni to St Marks Square. Great value overall, we would recommend to others.

Our landlady gave us very clear instructions for our arrival and met us at the arsenale stop. She was friendly and efficient. The apartment was light, bright, clean and comfortable. It overlooked on one side, the rio (small canal down which rode an ambulance, builder's boat and delivery boats on our first morning!), and the calle leading to the apartment on the other side. It was a quiet residential location, close to all the shops and cafes on via Garibaldi, perfect for living there - small supermarket, bakery, green grocer, fishmonger, internet shop, etc., etc. It was also far enough from the centre of Venice to be free of the heaviest tourist crowds, but an easy walk to the centre nevertheless. The only problem, and one that could easily be rectified, was no screens on the windows, which meant a few mosquitoes had to be dealt with before bedtime! Also, the bathroom was tiny, but we learned how to manage that as well. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again if we ever return to Venice.
