Come on up and enjoy the views! - A really rather special one bedroom/one bathroom apartment with fabulous ‘altana’ roof terrace near the Rialto markets in the San Polo district.

Recently renovated with personality and flair and fully air-conditioned for your comfort in summer, Ca’ Rioalto is on the 2nd floor and in our experienced opinion is a treat to enjoy! Modern in style and dotted with trendy and tasteful ‘objets’ throughout, the apartment comprises a main open-plan living/kitchen/dining area creating an inviting and inclusive atmosphere for all those who stay.

Pale wooden flooring complements the caramel and white... chocolate colours and limed effect furnishings to a tee, while the clever use of mirrors and the gorgeous beamed ceiling add to the overall ambiance and cosiness of the apartment, an appeal further enhanced by the gentle diffused glow of a beautiful Fortuny style tripod floor lamp positioned for best effect at the corner of the room.

The well-equipped kitchen in smart dark espresso tones features wooden work surfaces extending to meet a dining table with raised breakfast chairs, while a small and dramatically painted vestibule just to the side leads towards the bedroom and bathroom.

Nicely furnished in attractive shades of truffle against a backdrop of white paintwork, contemporary flower prints and a coloured feature wall, the bedroom has two twin beds which can also be made into a double (simply ask when booking), a stylish silver leaf chest of drawers and a jazzy zebra rug, while the small but perfectly formed bathroom has soft lighting, up to date fittings and a shower.

An ultramodern steel and glass open-sided staircase with study desk beneath rises from the main room to the floor above further revealing the impressive ceiling height and in turn leading out onto the fantastic roof terrace, stylishly furnished with modular rattan seating and enjoying the views over the terracotta rooftops, St. Mark’s Campanile in the distance and the bell tower of San Cassiano a little closer to home!

Offering the added convenience of Wi-Fi internet connection and wonderfully positioned just off Calle Botteri (the ancient street of the barrel-makers) in the beating heart of Venice.

Within moments of all the atmosphere, tradition and stunning produce of the world famous Rialto markets, the hubbub and action of the Grand Canal as well as a fine selection of restaurants including the world-renowned Antiche Carampane and plentiful old-style ‘bacari’ including Cantina Do Mori and All’ Arco.

A short walk to the Rialto Bridge, the Ca’ Pesaro (International Gallery of Modern Art) and the impressive palazzo-lined Campo San Polo. Also convenient for the vaporetto (water bus) stop at Rialto Mercato and the ‘Traghetto’ gondola ferry leading over the Grand Canal to the district of Cannaregio.

ALL VIEWS ON VENICE RATES, IRRESPECTIVE OF LENGTH OF STAY, ARE FULLY INCLUSIVE OF ALL UTILITIES* - gas, electricity, bed linen, towels, final cleaning, welcome on arrival and check-in up until 7.30 p.m.** are all included, as are air-conditioning and internet access if available at your chosen apartment. And while the Venice Tourist Tax*** is an extra on bookings made on or after 8th May '13, there are NO HIDDEN CHARGES.

Rentals of over 7 nights also include a weekly bed linen and towel change during your stay.

* Telephone charges, where applicable, are extra.
**Arrivals between 7.30 p.m. and midnight incur a late arrival fee of €50, payable in cash upon arrival.
*** Introduced by the City of Venice Council on stays at hotels, b&b;, campsites, apartment rentals etc., this per night/per person tax is levied on the first 5 consecutive nights of a client’s stay in Venice and is payable to your Views on Venice representative in cash (euros) upon arrival at the apartment.

The Rental Deposit (40% of the rental) will be debited from your credit card when you finalise your booking with us, while the balance will be debited by you through our credit card payment gateway at least 20 days prior to your arrival. Note that if paying by bank transfer, an extra €20 administrative fee will be charged to each transaction (i.e. deposit and final payment). Click here for further details regarding payment.

The Security Deposit (the amount specified alongside the apartment rate) is required against any breakage or damages to the apartment or to its furniture and equipment caused by the client during the rental period. This is payable to Views on Venice upon presentation of your credit card upon arrival at the apartment prior to occupancy.
Credit card details will be automatically recorded and subsequently cancelled by Views on Venice on the day of departure should no breakage or damages to the apartment or its furniture and equipment have occurred during the rental period.
