Touchdown is a unique B & B. Absolutely fabulous views across the sea from your private balcony, a very mediteranian feel to the accommodation with its high quality en suite and very comfortable bed and reclining leather chairs, large flat screen T.V. and wifi, fridge, coffe machine, underfloor heating and air conditioning. What more could you want? maybe steps from your balcony to the heated pool, you have your own entrance to come and go as you wish and free parking. This room is £80 per night including breakfast. An unforgettable experience at an unbelievable price

To be perfectly honest, booking Touchdown B&B; was an afterthought as all other hotels were booked or too expensive at the time. Never did we thought everything would turn out much better than expected. Do not let the affordable rates mislead you, inside this yet discovered B&B; lies the experience that rightfully justifies the word "luxury".
Just about everything about Touchdown is perfect. The location is impeccable as it is not too far away from the beach (only 10 minutes of walking distance), yet not too near to ruin the breathtaking view from the private balcony, which is separated from the main house and connected to the guest king room.
I'm personally a fan of swimming, and the pool's temperature was kept at a comfortable degree at all times, which hooked me even during the cold rain! The pool is very private as neighbouring houses are vacant and the only things left are bushes, the garden and the ocean, which let us indulge ourselves plenty. This is the kind of experience one can never get from most hotels on the island.
The mini-bar is stocked with all kinds of coffee, tea and biscuits. Other helpful additions such as coffee machine, kettle, blow dryer and dinnerware are also provided.
The bathroom and bedroom are thoughtfully designed and decorated, with easily adjustable and separate heating. Simple, clean and uncompromising, sometimes this place makes it very hard for me to muster up the motivation to go out. You just want to stay!
Everything emits the incredible caring and attention to detail from Peter and Jackie. And they are the nicest host one can hope for. During our stay, Peter and Jackie brought us to a local event in a place that has equally amazing views. Afterwards they brought us to a local pub for some chitchat. This is the family experience that makes it truly memorable.
Staying at Touchdown B&B; is the highlight of the year for us. It really touched us. We cannot recommend it enough. And I agree with the previous reviewer, you will want to go back. I know I will! -

There is parking directly in front of Touchdown and a warm welcome from the moment you go inside. Jackie & Peter are tremendous hosts making all 'part of the family', it makes for an enjoyable and relaxing stay from the start.
The accommodation is comfortable, modern, clean, bright and with access its own private deck with panoramic views and the swimming pool really makes the facilities complete?
The location is ideally suited to take advantage of all the various locations and the activities the Island offers and I highly recommend staying with Jackie and Peter, one stay will certainly make you want to go back.
