Signora Villa is waiting to host you in Vernazza! The lovely apartment is 50 steps from the main square and the beach. It sleeps up to 4 people, 2 in a bedroom with a king size bed and 2 in a foldout bed in the living room. There is a beautiful bathroom with a shower, and fully equipped kitchen with basic cooking supplies. The apartment is set back from the noise and crowds of the main street. It is quiet, sparkling clean and newly furnished. The town has recovered from the terrible landslide and is ready to welcome back visitors.

When you arrive at the train station, go down the only street there is toward the sea. You will pass restaurants and shops on both sides and then reach a tiny piazza with an ice cream store in front of you and a little tunnel to the sea on your left. On your right, you will see fruit on tables in front of a small grocery store. The store belongs to Mrs. Villa's son Pino. Tell them that you have arrived and that you need to be let into the apartment and they will send you up.
If you arrive when the store is closed, keep going another 20 meters till you get to the big piazza in front of the sea. You will see a restaurant called Gambero Rosso on your left. There is a staircase just before the restaurant. Go up the stairs. At the top of that flight go left. You will see a several doors. Call Mrs. Villa at: 0187 812026 and she will come meet you with the key

Such a simple, clean, fantastic flat that is superbly located in the heart of Vernazza. It takes 20 seconds to walk to the sea - and that is walking slowly!
My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful time here, we were met by little Signora Villa as we stepped out from the train station and she spoke rapid Italian to us as we walked up the stairs to the flat.
It has everything you need, including the bathroom being built into the rock face. We woke up in the morning and could hear the waves crashing around, with the scent of coffee and pastries wafting through the windows.
I was horrified to read of the recent natural disasters that happened in the region and I want you to know that the Cinque Terre and Vernazza deserve to be visited. They are such a beautiful part of the country and a absolutely worth the train ride.
