Villa Collina is a stunning 7 bedroom villa situated just 35 kilometres north of Florence. The property is steeped in history. Whilst its foundations date back to Medieval times, the villa has been in it current form since the 18th century. In it's more recent history, it was used as quarters by both the Wehrmacht and the Allied troops. Writing in both English and German remains on some of the walls along with the soldier's signatures. The property is perfectly located for exploring Tuscany. Florence is just 35 kms away, Arezzo and San Gimignano 70kms and Pisa and Lucca 90kms. Even Rome is only 3 hours away by motorway. Nearer to the villa, golf courses, tennis courts and a riding school are all close by. The Lago di Bilancino, 20kms away, offers guests the chance to try their hand at water sports such as sailing and windsurfing. Additional notes from owner
Rental rates include final cleaning and utilities with the exception of heating when required. For stays of 2 weeks or more, linen will be changed and the property cleaned on each Saturday of the guests stay. Additional beds can be provided if required so that the villa accommodates more than 14 people. These are charged at an additional 100 euros per week. 2 baby cots and 2 highchairs are available if required at no additional charge.
