San DiegoAway at home
Left on 07/18/2012 for a stay in July 2012
From the arrival, Steve & Trish made this more than a rental, we were treated as guests in a first class way. The apartment left no need unfulfilled including a fruit basket, some food staples and laundry needs. The apartment itself was as advertised, very modern, clean and thoughtfully decorated. The location is excellent, minutes walk to downtown, the harbor, groceries, etc. We enjoyed the city without need of a car. Steve met us at the 'Clipper' and transported us to our 'home' and Trish returned us for our return. I will look no further for any future Victoria travel.

Sonoma, CAIn the Heart of Victoria
Left on 09/11/2011 for a stay in September 2011
We had a great stay at City Life Suits. It's located right in the heart of Victoria within walking distance to everything including shops, museums, theaters, sightseeing and dining. The place was spotless and prepped for our arrival. Steve and Trish make a significant effort to stock everything you need from soap and detergent to an Iron and fully stocked kitchen. They even have specialty items like a scale for weighing your luggage and a bag you can wheel to the store. When we asked where to purchase a GPS to help us find our way to drop our daughter off at boarding school, they offered to let us barrow theirs. They were more then helpful with advice about everything. When you rent from Trish and Steve you don't just get a place to stay you actually have a friend in town who can help you assimilate to the area. For those traveling a long distance it can really make a difference in how you enjoy your experience in Canada. We also own a vacation rental so we can appreciate all the hard work and personal touches Steve and Trish include with their property. I know the place stays booked up but I hope we can find an opening next time we come to Canada to visit our daughter. Thanks for everything! - Doug & Lynetta (from Sonoma, Ca)

Very happy non-camping couple.
Ithaca, NY, USAWonderful spot in downtown Victoria
Left on 09/07/2011 for a stay in August 2011
This was the perfect spot for my husband and me for a week of sightseeing in Victoria and surrounding towns. Except when we left Victoria for parts farther north, we hardly used the car at all. Our host met us upon our arrival, took us to our parking space, showed us around the apartment, and gave us very easy-to-understand instructions which we might need to operate any appliances or electronics in the apartment. After that we were completely ready to handle whatever we needed to, including the location of a grocery store, bank, and various other things to make our stay easier. The apartment was spotless and had a wide array of amenities. Besides a wonderful kitchen, television, DVD player, etc., he had left us a loaf of bread, butter, milk, cereal, and a wide array of condiments and spices. We hope to stay there again when we are in Victoria visiting children and grandchildren.
