Our spacious one bedroom period cottage (circa 1864) is in an ideal setting for a very romantic getaway on our 600 acre rural Beef Farming property. Although it feels that you are the only people around it is only 15 minutes to excellent pubs and restaurants. Sunnyside Cottage has a very comfortable lounge with a cosy wood fire, where you can curl up with a nice red wine and check out the wild life through the large picture window or sitting on the deck, enjoying the view over the valley to the Cobaw Ranges. A short brisk walk along the farm drive will get you to the hauntingly popular Hanging Rock. You are also within a short driving distance of the towns and villages of Newham, Woodend, Lancefield and Kyneton that give this historic area it's character. Mt. Macedon and the spa town of Daylesford are also close and very easily accessed from Sunnyside Cottage.

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend at Sunnyside Cottage. The cottage is very well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Our hosts thought of everything to make our stay so relaxing. The breakfast supplies are plentiful for a scrumptious breakfast and we also ordered a bbq pack for dinner on saturday night. The steaks were wonderful and accompanied by homemade salads and chutney that was lovely. The cottage is in a great position with a quick drive to Woodend and Kyneton where there is plenty to see and lots of restaurants. We will certainly be back to sample some when time permits!
