We wanted a place close to town, clean and a place that had a yard or deck where we could enjoy a meal or sit out and relax when not doing something. The place was a 7 minute walk to town and was very clean overall.
However, there were no tables or chairs on the back deck, and the back yard looked like it could use a little more care. The back yard was promoted as a peaceful place to relax, but you could hear the neighbors on both sides of the house and with no comfortable place to sit, the back yard was not really useable. The new barbecue grill was great however. The front yard had great fencing to make the area private, but again, no furniture provided and even if chairs were there, you'd be looking at garbage cans!
The master bedroom/bathroom was good, but the 2nd bedroom only had 2 twin beds and the 2nd bathroom had a very tiny sink, so it was impossible to use it and not get water on the floor.
The kitchen was clean, but the dishwasher didn't drain so we couldn't use it. We also reported to EMR Rentals that the toilet in the 2nd bathroom constantly ran.
If you just want something close to town and clean and don't plan on spending a lot of time in the house, it would be okay. The living room was comfortable with a nice flat screen, but there were several things that made us uncomfortable and we wouldn't stay there again.
