Paia, HawaiiPerfectly located cottage
Left on 05/18/2013 for a stay in May 2013
Me and my husband have never been to Victoria, Canada at all. We live in hawaii and travel alot usually in hotels and motels since we were going for at least 9 nights we decided on trying to find a vacation rental or B&B.; We were stoked to find this one at such an excellent price! It was exactly what you see and what we wanted! It's located out of the city of Victoria but close enough to Victoria less then 10 min. away. We ate at the little town really close by Lemongrass one of the nights, excellent chinese, thai food. The last nite we ate at the local Smugglers Pub that was actually really good. Walked down to the bay and watched the sailboats racing. We golfed everyday at 7 different golf courses, most of them less then 30. min. away as long as we didn't get lost! The cottage is located in such a safe neighborhood, quiet upscale homes all around. Mike and Karin offered the canoes and bikes, but we were on a golf trip. The weather was better then Victoria usually has that month,
everyday we were there, sunny blue skies and in the 70 to 80's! The cottage was clean and quiet, we even saw a deer in the backyard. The queen bed was comfortable. We loved the heating under the tile at nite cause it did get cold, I've never had heat coming from underneath the tile and heat up the cottage, way cool!!! Loved Victoria!! -

Camanche IowaA lovely cottage
Left on 09/15/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this sweet guest house. It is in a beautiful neighborhood that is very quiet and peaceful at night, while just a short walk away from coffee shops and restaurants. We found so many things to do in Victoria during our stay, but we would have been very happy to have just laid back and relaxed in this beautiful space. The lovely furnishings make for a very comfortable stay. We loved all of the natural light and the incredible ceiling fan. There is plenty of space while retaining a cozy feeling. It is close to the main house but separate and private.
Our hosts were very prompt in responding to any questions we had in arranging our reservation. Once we arrived at our destination we were met by Mike who was more than helpful and happy to offer suggestions and touring tips. Both he and Karin are great people and it was our pleasure to meet them. We had a great morning with Mike out on his boat - one of the highlights of our stay on VI. This is definitely a place we hope to return to and would recommend to any one seeking an attractive place in a great location. -

We loved this rental. It is tucked into a quiet corner of Victoria but close to the sights and within walking distance to the beach and all the services you might need. The guest house is beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities. We watched deer from the window and had to pry ourselves away from the beautiful serenity of this rental.
Karin and Mike were amazing hosts, close by if we needed anything but respectful of our privacy and schedule. Mike took my husband fishing like they were old friends (now they are!)and also offered a kayak and bike. They are completely friendly and relaxed.
Don't let the low price fool you as this guest house is worth its weight in gold.Hope to be back next summer for a longer stay! -

In a word "ideal"!! The cottage was a perfect place to stay this summer. The location, the cottage and the owner all made for a excellent experience.
The location is an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, food store & Starbucks. It's in a lovely neighbourhood that was quite & safe.
The cottage, well I felt at home the minute I walked in. It was clean, well appointed & ideal. I had everything that I needed, comfortable bed, a living room, a kitchenette,a great bathroom and my own private deck.
Karin, the owner was wonderful hostess full of information & great suggestions on things to do in the area.
I would recommend this property, I know that I would stay here again.
