Lovely room/private bath in Westside Vancouver

This is a fully furnished room in a shared household of working professionals and grad students. We are located on the Westside of Vancouver, near UBC, and on major bus lines. Shopping, transit immediately accessible.

The room has a queen size bed, all cotton and natural fibre linens, desk, T.V., Cable, WiFi, small bar fridge, excellent light. On-site laundry, shared kitchen and common areas.

We've been a stable collective for 10 years and have always rented to either semi-permanent or short-term housemates. Recently, one of our housemates, from Brazil, asked if his mother and brother could stay through the holidays instead of a... hotel. This has worked out so well that we would like to try out this service!!

Our household consists of Geri, a psychologist in private practice, her husband, Alfred, author and lecturer, Gustavo, A Grad student at UBC, and Pedro and Julia, a young couple from Brazil here learning English!! Spanish, French, and Portuguese spoken here!!

If you are looking for a comfortable, well-appointed room in an interesting and vibrant household, accessible to excellent transit all over Vancouver with people who will treat you like family this is the place! We can furnish excellent references from past guests and housemates all over the world!!

Kerrisdale is on the Westside of Vancouver. This is a safe and accessible area for shopping and transit to all of the lower mainland. Located 10 minutes, by transit to the University of BC and 20 minutes to the Downtown core, this is an excellent jumping off point to explore and get to know Vancouver. We are located near the Southlands Equestrian area, the premier place in Vancouver for training, hiking along the Fraser River or Pacific Spirit Park is just a jump away! Cafes, restaurants, shopping and other amenities within 1 block. Parking is safe, on-street and transit stop is right out front door.
