Parry Bay Ocean Retreat is an executive, architecturally designed home located on the shore of Parry Bay, with a private beach. Built in the middle of one acre, it is at the meeting point of the ocean ecosystem and the Pacific North West rain forest. It offers spectacular views of the ocean and of Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic Mountain Range across the Juan de Fuca Strait in Washington State. The 2,000 square feet residence offers 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a large living room and dining room with an impressive slate fireplace and cathedral ceilings. You will find all the luxury commodities you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation stainless... steel appliances, gas Weber BBQ, WiFi, flat screen TV, washer dryer, and a hot tub on the outside deck.

Parry Bay Ocean Retreat offers wide, open spaces to cook, eat, relax together indoor and outdoor. Each bedroom has its own private deck facing the ocean and its own bathroom. Two bedrooms are located on the second floor the master bedroom is equipped with a king size bed, a walk-in closet, an ensuite with a large standing shower and a big bathtub. The blue room has a queen size bed and its own fully equipped bathroom. The third bedroom is on the main floor and is equipped with a single sized bunk bed which is perfect for children. The large and fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances and every cooking tool you may need to cook a gourmet meal. You can also use the Weber BBQ on the deck attendant to the kitchen. Whether you eat inside or outside, you are always feasting on gorgeous ocean views.

This is a unique property surrounded by flower gardens, a pebble and sand beach, and a fern canyon with native ecosystem plants at the back of the house. Lounging in Adirondack chairs in the garden, watch bald eagles dive in the ocean to retrieve their dinner while blue herons calmly perch on floating seaweed. Laugh at otters somersaulting in water, or be amazed by killer whales swimming by. On any given day, you will see deer, rabbits, and a variety of forest and sea birds. The beach is furnished with driftwood logs where you can sit comfortably while kids play in the sand you enjoy the sunset.You can walk along the coast for a couple of kilometers, or use nearby trails to hike to your hearts content. With kayaks, go paddling around the little islands, mingling with sea lions and seals, watching the orange beak oyster catchers feast on sea shells.

As Parry Bay Ocean Retreat is in the rural community of Metchosin, famous for its artistic population, you can spend days visiting several artists listed in the famous Stinking Fish Studio Tour Metchosin is an aboriginal word meaning stinking fish, referring to whales that occasionally beach themselves on our shores.
