This light and bright private suite enjoys southern exposure with beautiful views overlooking the gardens and meadows of Heathwood, the Mt Newton Valley, the Olympic mountain range in Washington and the ocean at Brentwood Bay.
This 1000 sq. ft. cheerful suite is spacious and peaceful and had been designed with attention to detail to make your stay unforgettable. The kitchen is fully equipped with many extras, the spacious bedroom has a luxuriously comfortable king sized bed with fine linens and private patio and meadow view, a cozy chesterfield for a quiet place to relax and read as well as a hand carved desk for those who wish to work....Read more

Heathwood is unique in its location in the beautiful Mt. Newton Valley. We are minutes to the Brentwood Bay Ferry which will take you to Mill Bay where you can drive thru many beautiful valleys and towns, each with their own character and attractions to explore as you head to the north end of the island. Or simply take in all there is to offer right here on the Saanich Penninsula. Wine tasting tours, local beaches, local artists galore, and so much more. The famous Butchart Gardens are a short 5 minute drive, Brentwood Inn and Spa, 3 minutes away. The town of Sidney -by-the -sea is 10 minutes away and has many unique stores and delightful restaurants. The City of Victoria and capital of British Columbia is a very easy 20 minute drive.

What a wonderful place! The Sunrise Suite is as advertised, bright and lots of space. Very comfortable bed and felt right at home. The grounds are beautiful and really great views of the mountains and ocean in the distance. Found it centrally located in the Peninsula and it was easy and convenient to go to Victoria, Sidney, Brentwood. There are lots of great places to eat just a short drive away if you don't want to cook. I would definitely stay here again!
