The largest and Most Beautiful apartment next to Stefan's Platz and Stadtpark which is right across the street. This apartment/Loft is in front of the Museum of Applied Arts. Near all Museums and Tourist Attractions. AND WE MEAN ALL ATTRACTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great great great central location. Our guests keep telling us that they can't believe the location we have. You just have to fall out of bed, go across the street for a coffee in the beautiful Mak Garden which serves " mean" breakfast and then plan your day. The subway is Stubentor or Stefan's Platz . I strongly recommend that you consider taking the subway to get here. It is really cheap and it saves the environment. It is also on the Ring so, you can just catch the tram right across the street and go completly around the ring to the Museums, (at Museum Quartier) Opera, (2 minutes) Rathaus etc.....seconds away..........Rightby the Donau Canal where there are lots of boats and cruise lines, resaturants, and the oldest Movie Cinema in Europe..........That location has it all...............You can walk to the Music Hall where all of the famous concerts are. Just had dinner on the Donau Canal and was it nice...boats going by neon from the oldest Ferris wheel in the world, and, did I say delicious dinner.....

We loved our stay at the Strauss apartment. There are huge living room, separate bedroom with comfortable beds and bedding, bathroom with a shower and small kitchen with everything you need to make a meal (unless you are planning to bake and compete with Viennese bakeries). We could use computer provided by Liska, and wi-fi connection for our own I-pad was very good. Location is perfect - walking distance to all major sightseeing sights, and transportation to airport and around the city are at your doorstep.
We enjoyed our stay and felt at home. -

The apartment had the best location ever - near all the important sites in Vienna either by walking, tram or underground! It has wonderful light and all the amenities you need. The cute kitchen lets you do breakfast and light snacks. I especially liked the original art work, all the on-site brochures and the spaciouness of the living room and bedroom. The provision of two cell phones and a computer with a printer were added bonuses and very thoughtful.I would definitely stay again.

After looking at tons of hotels that featured tiny, single-occupancy rooms for $$$, I stumbled on the listing for this apartment. I'd never done this kind of rental before, and was a bit freaked out that I'd end up in Vienna with no place to stay, but I'm so glad I took the chance.
Before arriving, I received an email with all the instructions/directions/everything I needed to know on how to get there and where to go. It was super easy finding the apartment, in a great location. The apartment is huge, with tons of room and great furnishings. The location is fantastic; there are plenty of cafes and a grocery store and pharmacy just a block away. You're a five minute walk from the center of town, and two seconds from a subway.
The apartment was very clean, and they kindly provided cell phones to use (if you're with another person, this would be super helpful. Since it was just me, I didn't need to use them.) An iron was also provided which doesn't seem like a big deal until you realize most hotels don't have one in each room! Internet was provided and no problems signing in and staying connected. After weeks of being in cramped hotel rooms, it was lovely being able to spread out. I highly recommend you stay here if you can -- and definitely bring some friends so you can take advantage of all the room! -

We really enjoyed our stay in vienna. the apartment is in a very central and convenient location from which all of the major tourist attaractions can be explored on foot. really good resturants nd cafes within minutes.

This apartment is really great! It is close to the U-Bahn, close to city center, and has a number of restaurants on the street right below.The space itself was very open and airy and spacious. Lots of floor room. The beds were comfy. The shower was nice and hot. The kitchen was small but who would be cooking in this fabulous city??
The owners were available and helpful. I would go back in a second! -

Very exciting experience, a lot of flexibility from the booking phase to the arrival day, especially to leave the luggage when arriving the morning in the city, a lot a flexibility to let the luggage the last day and last but not least, a lot of kindness provided by Liska who did her best to make our stay as best as she can. me and my friends stayed at the appartment this easter break for 3 nights. me myself being from vienna, i knew already that the location is perfect, but also the hosts, liska and miroslav were really helpful with everything and the whole organisation, arrival and departure went very very smooth.
the location was indeed perfect. in the middle of the city center, walking distance from all the important sight seeing things in a beautiful area of classical vienna.
furthermore the apartment is extremely spacious and bright, each of us girls even had their own bed.
moreover, i really appreciate them providing us austrian self-ones and 2 sets of keys.
we are really happy with everything and definitely will come back to this place!!!

Die Lage der Wohnung ist grandios, nicht weit von der nächsten U-Bahnstation entfernt und mit dem Lift kommt man auch mit viel Gepäck und Shopping-Highlights ganz einfach in die Wohnung.
Wir haben die Zeit in diesen Räumen sehr genossen. Die grosszügige Raumaufteilung hat uns für kurze Zeit den Traum vom Grossstadtleben leben lassen. -

The bathroom is no clean towels, and they call it clean is somewhat wrinkled. In the office is a room with a bunch of dirty stuff that stinks. There are over 13 tables to work. Beds uncomfortable sleep. Dirty kitchen. Our child has a terrible allergy because of dirty . Do not have a washing machine and have no iron. Only the location is good, but with the complete renovation of the office, this is not a space where they can sleep when staying in Vienna this is the office .

i'm writing from liska apartment where i'm staying with my family(we are 6) for a 5 days vacation. i just want to say the place is great just next to the city center,walkig distance from almost everything! the apartment is really cozy and comfortable.we are quite enjoying our stay!and definitly will come back!

This is an office that the owner rents out as an apartment and the furnishings reflect this. The only real bed is a portable that is placed directly on the floor in the back room. We received 2 business calls for the owner at 2:30am (calls were placed from the us where there is a 6-hour time difference). Later in the week a huge package was left at the apartment entrance by a delivery service. We had to shove it out of the way to get into the apartment. Three days later, someone moved it into the apartment while we were not there. No one called to get permission to enter the apartment. The kitchen was poorly furnished and not clean. The location is convenient for site seeing but very noisy as it overlooks the Ring. The bedroom cannot be darkened as the blinds are in poor condition. Cell phones were provided which was useful. Nice flat-screened TV.

The bed is not on the floor it is 24 inches up from the floor. It is lower, but, not on the floor. I think that someone left their luggage in the apartment before the guest left as a late departure.
The kitchen has dishware ,cups, glasses, silverware and pots for 8 people. I think that it is simple dishware, not fine China, but we will try to improve.

My first experience of Vienna. The flat was ideally situated was very clean and was in nice part of town. We received loads of help from the landlord - intructions, mobile phones, rearranged the to accomodate a big group. This was fantastic.

We couldn't have asked for a better location. The appartement was clean, kitchen although small was well equiped. The bedroom was large, the bed comfortable. Lots of place to store and hang your clothes. We could walk to about everything we wanted to see. We dealed with the owner. She was very kind, gave us a telephone where to reach her at all time. There is an elevator which make it easier. No noise in the building.

We stayed here for two nights in august. The apartment was ideal for us, just a ten minutes walk from the cathedral and very convenient for the U-bahn. The owners of the apartment were very thoughtful and even left us two mobile phones (with local calls included in the fee we payed for the apartment), so that we could call other members of our party. Miro was also very helpful and gave us good tips on what to see and where to go.
The apartment is spacious and nicely decorated and althought the main bedroom has a sofa-bed it was quite comfortable.
We would definitly come back to stay if in Vienna. -

My husband, daughter and I stayed here for about 5 days in late May and really enjoyed the convenience and comfort of this apartment. The location was great -- just a block from the U-bahn and the S-bahn, and within a few blocks walk from St. Stephens. Actually, we could walk to a lot of the sights, including the opera. A grocery store, drug store, deli, bakery, and lots of other shops were also close by. The restaurant right next door was nice for drinks and a light meal. Although the beds were all sofa beds, they were quite comfortable. There were lots of large windows to make the apartment light and airy. The service provided by the owner in responding to my questions by phone and e-mail and during check-in was excellent. Also, the owner provided 2 cell phones for local use, and a computer and printer, which was very convenient. The bedroom, living room and bathroom were quite spacious. The kitchen was tiny, but we only needed to use the fridge and did not do any cooking. All the linens and towels provided were clean and good quality. The apartment was an excellent value for the cost. The building itself was very quiet, and had nice architectural touches. We heard some street noise at night, since we had the windows open, but it did not disturb us. Overall, we had a great experience.

Things that were not written or told before we paid it all in advance:
The location on the map in the site is superb; the real location is far away!!!
The name of the "apartment" is "st. Steffans platz apartment". The location on the map is just there, in the middle of the old city . The real location is far away, in a very noisy location.
Actually it is more an office that is rented to tourists as an "apartment"; with 11 tables, with not even one real bed. When my wife saw the "kitchen" she shouted in surprise. It is the size of a shower and dark. It is not pleasant to wash dishes in a tinny sink in the dark.
As I wrote, in the "apartment" there is not even one real bed. It has a "folding sofa"+ 2 folding beds+ old, bad smelling, inconvenient sofas, makes "sleeps 6".
There is not even one closet to be used. The ones that are in the "apartment" are filled with files.
The "apartment" is on a main road, in a convenient position near the public transportation and a walking distance to explore the main sites. During our stay some of the windows where taken and isolation was very bad and we did not sleep well because of the noise. -

Overall a nice, spacious apartment, although in a different location to that indicated on the map. Having the computer and printer is very handy if you need to check emails, etc (or print out Google maps for the next part of the trip, as we did!). It is quite noisy with the windows open as it is on the Ringstrasse, but very conveniently located. The kitchen is small and not very well equipped if you want to do any cooking, but adequate for most basic needs.

Excellent and warm service with everything thought of - right down to being given a mobile phone for local calls! The apartment is very spacious and had plenty of room for 3 adults. It is a truly central location with various restaurants and amenities close by. All I can say is that I wish I was able to stay longer.

This apartment was centrally located- 5 minute walk to St. Stephens, metro right on the end of the block. The hosts were fantastic. They provided cell phones for us to stay in contact with each other. The room was spacious. They provided a computer and printer for us to use. Overall, we were very happy and would rent here again.

We had a marvelous stay here in Vienna. First, the location is excellent. The Underground is less than a block away(Stubentor). We had wonderful restaurants located in the neighbourhood behind the apt. Our fave was the Gasthouse Pfudl. From this location you can walk pretty much anywhere in the Inner Stadt, 10mins to St.Stephens, 20mins to Museumquartier, the MaK is across the street. Our daughters loved playing in Stadtpark which is also across the street (decent playground). Liska has been a wonderful host. She met us on the street, had her associates bring up our bags, and left us all kinds of reading materials on the city and books for the kids. She also left us with a laptop, internet use and 2 mobile phones. The apartment is spacious and airy. There is no a/C but it gets good airflow from the windows and the fans worked well (it was 30degrees). The bedroom has a pull out couch which is moderately comfortable (I think a bed would be better). Our daughter slept on a couch that opened flat and she was comfortable. The baby used a portable crib which worked well. The building is a lovely old design, with a lot of charm. There are 2 apts per floor, and we never saw anyone. We even cooked a bit as there are pots/pans/plates etc. The kitchen is small, so cooking large meals could be difficult.
Overall, we really recommend the apt. -

Lovely apartment. Perfectly located, close to everything you will want to see in Vienna and a block to the subway and streetcar as well. We stayed here for a week with our two small children and there was plenty of room. The apartment is nicely decorated.
The owner is very helpful. She provided a travel cot for our baby,
I didn't notice when booking that it is a sofa bed in the bedroom and there are no laundry services. Other than that the place was great. -

We are just back from a 2 week holiday in austria. We spent the first 9 days in this apartment in Vienna. The location was perfect - a 10 min. walk to Stephansdom and the city centre. The apartment was exceptionally clean, and although there were only 2 rooms, they were large and afforded plenty of space for my husband, myself and our 2 adult children. There are plenty of restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores in the neighbourhood and we always made our own breakfast in the little kitchen provided. I was a little uncomfortable about paying in advance, but everything turned out fine. There is a computer for use in the apartment which was very convenient for keeping in touch with family back home. There were also cell phones for our use, although we didn't use them. Liska has tried to think of things to make a tourist's stay more convenient. My only suggestion would be that another mirror placed near a plug-in would be great for 2 women trying to get ready to go out at the same time. An excellent apartment.

This place was an ideal find. The location was perfect, and the view across to the MaK museum was beautiful. Access to the underground was so easy, and stores were a short walk. It was so easy to get to all sightseeing spots from here as well. You can't lose, honestly

Excellent location, very helpful host/property manager, couldn't have been any better. I traveled with my wife and 5 year old son. We chose this apartment because of its location, but it exceeded our expectations in every respect. The apartment is huge allowing our son to literally run around, fantastic location opposite the Mak museum, perhaps 2.5 minute walk from the nearest subway station, and very comfortable walking distance to Stephenplatz. There are all sorts of restaurants, cafes, bars, on the block itself.
Apartment manager Liska is really really nice and helpful. She offered us her own laptop and printer for use during our stay, and even her wireless phone!!!
The apartment is kept very clean and plentiful fresh towels and linen were provided to us. Kitchen was just the right size with all required cookware and dinnerware. If we ever return to Vienna, this apartment would be our first choice. -

This apartment was spectacular. The building was a 13th century monastery. 1 minute away from everything. very quite
Great furniture and wonderful bathroom with large tub.
The best thing was being in the heart of the tourist area but I felt so European feeling right at home. Liska the owner was wonderful and so helpful everything that to know was available. Walking distance to the Opera and all the musical concert halls. Best Vacation ever but most of all I felt like I was at home. Can't wait to get back -

This location is the best in Vienna, in my opinion. Walking distance to everything important to me (museums, galleries, Spanish Riding School and shopping). The restaurants and food shops were also convenient. It was great to be able to make my own breakfast or late supper too. I hadn't been to Vienna in many years and fell in love with the city. Being so comfortably and conveniently accommodated made it all so "gemuchlicht"!
